Lovely sheltered beach in shadows of Tynemouth priory . Very popular with family’s, so make sure you get there early! Make sure you choose a nice patch of dry sand well above the tide line at high tide
Beautiful beach !. The council needs to do a bit more for disabled access. I cant understand why there are not more amenities available there. It would be a good business opportunity for someone.
Lovely sheltered bay with the imposing castle and priory perched overhead on the headland.
One of the best beaches in the UK.... Definitely.
You cannot beat this place on a hot summers day. A family favourite when I was a young pup.
Perfect place if you like dogs :)
Nice little beach inside a bay :)

Difficult to beat fresh seafood on the beach. Well worth the price and the wait, try the monkfish kebab. - Jason Nadell

I've always been very happy with the food and service at the Gib. I'm leaving Spain soon to come home. The Gib will be my first choice for Sunday Lunch and other occasions. Keep up the good work!! xx - Sheila Garthwaite-Hobson
