Really surprised by earlier reviews. The Gib is one of the best Carvery pubs around, and with the location overlooking the king edwards bay you can't beat it. The staff has always been friendly too!

The Gib Rock is our favorite carvery around. the food is fantastic and the staff are allways very happy and friendly and would do anything to accomodate any needs you have. Would highly recomend it.

I've always been very happy with the food and service at the Gib. I'm leaving Spain soon to come home. The Gib will be my first choice for Sunday Lunch and other occasions. Keep up the good work!! xx

The Gibraltar Rock is the best carvery i ever had cos its all home made food its not the frozing crap that you get at most places and the staff are always helpful you can't ask for more

The carvery tastes amazing. The portions are very generous and great value . Excellent place to take the family for a meal.

Delicious food. They offer some special courses on Christmast.

Amazing carvery, friendly staff , gorgeous views from the upstairs bar too. Would recommend :)

Tynemouth can do allot better than this. The Gibraltar Rock is not a place that I will be visiting again.

Its crap. The staff are unhelpfull.
