This area of Cambodia is very flat and it's amazing to see what they've done with water in ancient times. Building moats around many of the temples and diverting water for crops.
Neak Pean ("The entwined serpents") at Angkor , Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.
Scenic view as you walk on the platform towards the temple . The temple is small though. I love this place besides Angkor wat, sras sang and Bayon Temple .
The Temple with the most picturesque route to walk to it from all the Temples of Angkor . The Lake is mesmerising beautiful! This Temple itself is not something wow.
It is possible this is how the New York Central Park would look in a post-apocalyptic world. On a serious note, it was the highlight of the day.
There's not much to see here compared to the many other ancient temples in the area, however it is very different. Note you cannot walk all the way around the moat , so expect a quick ~<20min visit.
Very unique for Angkor . The walk across wooden bridge is memorable but the temple itself is tiny and not hugely photogenic.
This is one of the reasons how Khmer empire was able to flourish; Irrigation. The king Jayabarman was truly a great leader.

Very nice temple in the middle of a lake .
a small temple but you surely wouldn't wanna miss.
Beautiful moat here
so small, but u'd better study about this place.
