The best way to visit the temples is to rent Tuk Tuk for one day. Do not attempt to visit the area cycling because it is huge and the temperatures around 32 C.

Buy tickets a day before especially if you plan to catch the sunrise . Get the 3-day pass so you have enough time to check every nook and cranny. Crowds usually gather at the left side area so be wiser

This is really amazing, on par with the pyramids in Egypt. Stay for a week or more and you’ll have time to visit the lessor know temples , often times you’ll be the only one there.

Enter the temple as soon as it opens. It's huge. You can get some beautiful photos without the crowd. Once it's done, come back out, snap some photos of the sunrise !

Get your temple pass the day before you explore the temples . You can then come for sunset after 5pm and not have it count against your pass. For sunrise , go early! Stay by left pond for "the shot".

Got up for sunrise and (as expected) there are crowds of people here as well . The mood around the "photo spot " was a bit foul. People anxious, pushing and shoving to get the same photo you see online.

Absolutely speechless. Hands down one of the most amazing places I've ever been. There's an audioguide from an archaeologist available on the App Store that goes into great depth on the bas-reliefs.

You can get inside after 4:30 when is closed to see the sunset and come back next day with the same ticket for sunrise at 5:30 am. Is a must see, one of my fav places in the world ????

Pre-dawn photos have the best light, but tracking the sun as it climbs up one of the towers was my fave. Bring towel to sit on and you can squeeze in front of the iPad crowd afraid of the mud.

Arrive early for sunrise . Gets crowded around 5:30 already. If you arrive early grab a seat on the stones right by the water for best view of the sunrise .

Bring good shoes . Some of stair climbs are very steep. Took about 45 min line wait for heaven god tower but worth it

Come here by sunset , an amazing sight to see. Topmost temple closes by 5:00 pm, make sure to catch it! Oh yeah, wear something with sleeves, sleeveless not allowed to go up the topmost temple .

The amazing temples of Angkor . Hire a tuk-tuk driver/guide. Then spend the day wandering all the cracks and crevices this temple complex has to offer. A photographers dream. Great light all day long.
