There are 2 Hameediyah Restaurant in this street. Hameediyah Tandoori only serves naan and chicken tandoori . If u wish to have variety, proceed to Hameediyah restaurant that established in 1907.

Absolutely fantastic family owned tandoori place with a simple menu, freshly made food and crispy-soft naan , just the way you expect it. I definitely go back while we are here. I'm a fan already.

Two words: Nasi Briyani . Yes, it's that good. And this is coming from a true blue Penangite. Just add a piece of chicken (Ayam Madu) and a mixture of gravy and you're set. Murtabak is good too.

Chicken Ayam, Beef Rendang and Biriyani were great but the Garlic naan and the Chicken Tandoori were on their own level of exceptional. Recommend this as the service is great as well .

Best briyani in Penang ! Try the kurma, it's the best I've ever tasted. A definitely awesome place. And my dad said he'd used to go here when he was a kid with his mom. There's something for longevity.

I recommend the Garlic Naan and the Tandoori Chicken as they were the best dishes that we recieved however the Biriyani , Chicken Ayam and the Beef Rendang were all great as well .

Tried the Briyani Ayam Kampung , Briyani Ayam Tandoori and Ayam Murtabak . All were good.

It was worth the queuing. I'm not so sure whether they always give a generous amount of rice but they certainly did to me. So make sure you're hungry af before you have your meal here. ????

White rice with fried chicken top up with dalcha and ayam rose curry , also with daging rendang and sambal kelapa (not many mamak shop have this)

Looks can be deceiving.. Despite the humble layout, the food is great! Should've tried the Nasi Biryani & Kurma Kambing . Will definitely come again!

Stupid system ! Order food from one venue and eat at another ! The briyani is too much colour and the "dalca" and "kurma" lost its traditional taste !

The curry are full of herbs & spice! Can't find any nasi kandar outlet with similar taste. The restaurant are clean & hygienic compare to " Nasi Kandar Line Clear".

For me is, not much crowded place for eat, yeah you now comparing with 'nasi kandar beratur' or ' line clear'. For the foods, I had only tried Nasi Kandar ,they cook very well and the dishes is simple.

Their lamb murtabak was fairly good and mutton curry with Briyani rice is decent. Overall was an o-Kay experience.
