Ask the mamak to put "kuah campur " (mixed curries ) on the rice . Ask also for the "sambal nyuk" (coconut chutney ) with to go along your rice . ????

Discussing about the taste is very subjective. However if u are a fan of nasi kandar , u may also try other established names in penang. E.g: Hameediah, Kassim, Kassim Mustaffa, etc.

Go for mutton , telur dadar & kuah campur on the rice . Nothing special on chicken dishes (ayam ros , goreng , & kari). Even it's Monday, got stuck on queue line with 37 ppl queued ahead, 15 min earlier!

Another famous Nasi Kandar in Penang that you have to queue up for fresh and tasty food from 10pm till finished.

Make sure to come with an empty stomach. Large portion of rice but you still can reduce it. Delicious! Worth trying!

If you come early, please que on the left of the entrance. In front of the glass counter of Nasi Kandar Masjid. If you see ppl there, do ask if they are queing up.

Recommended dishes: omelette , beef kurma. Give it a skip: fried egg & fried chicken ..

Tapao one with nasi tambah, ayam goreng , fish curry , sotong, telur masin, kobis, & basah abis with additional gravy tapao separately =RM 16.80!!!

Late night nasi kandar . Great stewed meats, but curries are boring and few veggies . Can't compete with line clear in terms of service, selection, and friendliness, but still not a bad stop.

Its hard for to like Mamak food, but this one is an exception. Just simple friend chicken and it just taste perfectly!!

Seriously "beratur".. U'll know it's worth the queue once you taste it. one of the best nasi kandar I've tasted. ;)

The taste is above my expectation. Im not a nasi kandar lover, but I love the food here. a must try when u come to penang.

Get there early. Around 9.30-ish. The seats are very limited, so bring along a friend or two to book the seat if you are planning to eat there.

Love the nasi kandar with telur sotong ... can't find telur sotong in KL. Best of all it's bloody cheap !!!

Tie a string on your finger and remember one of these words: ketuk, sembelih, pancung, takik. Just don't go overboard to feast the appetite more than you can afford . Otherwise, knock yourselves out!

The real Nasi Kandar Beratur start at 10. Before 10, there is another nasi kandar . Don't fall for it!

Go after 10pm. Earlier is different operated. Known as "La liqat " . Rm5.50 !

The best food you can get after 12am. And this is original nasi kandar not commercialise such as Pelita Nasi Kandar . A must on your visit to Penang.

Fried chicken , telur goreng bawang are awesome ! Ayam ros is just mediocre for me, based on preference , I guess.... Be here at 10pm or u really need to queue .

Massive hype about this place, so thought I'd check it out. Was lucky not to have to wait too long, but the food was... only okay. Prices are very reasonable, but food left me disappointed. Pass.

Sedapnye... tp kena datang awal. We reached there and start beratur from 9.15pm when it opened at 10pm... nasi kandar punye pasal...

The mixed gravy/kuah campur not bad. But now i dont get that worth queing-up taste anymore. Chicken curry taste dont penetrate the chicken . It was 2-3 years ago.

It was raining when we went there,so not many people queing. Food is superb!!!

Its open at 10pm. Make sure came earlier. DO try the Ayam Ros , Ayam Hitam, Telur Dadar , Fish Curry . Drink is Bandung. The taste seems look alike Shariff Nasi Kandar Gelugor.

"Beratur" means "queue ", and this is what the place is famous for, as patrons are often seen queuing up in long lines just to get a taste of their favorite meals.

Worth the price because it is cheap but not the taste though.. kuah campur is yummy but the ayam ros is overrated and fried chicken is just normal fried chicken

The worst nasi briyani ayam masala ever...chicken was hard and not fresh. This place used to be good but their standards have dropped...i wouldnt bother coming back. Really disappointed!
