Top Hobart foodie recommendation! Great coffee , location and the wide variety of pastries make this place my favourite breakfast spot in Hobart !

Kate McNamara

This should be mandatory on everyone's Hobart visit. Awesome place, with a great range and really solid service. A wonderful introduction to Battery Point

Mirna Sarihodzic

Everything we have tasted here was beyond amazing...! Frittata is a slice of heaven! Sweets & coffee - thumbs up!

Nirvikar Yadav

One of the best fine dining restaurant I have been to. Each dish is awesome and the dessert is just marvellous.

Bommy

Nice cream cheese cranberry bun . Blueberry lemon cake is not particularly good and the coffee is average, but this spot has an old school charm.

Aylwin Ong

Scallop and Wakame pie was good. Plenty of scallops . Their chai latte is one of the best I've ever had.

nord

Good coffee and decent baked goods . Had a cappuccino and strawberry cheesecake .

Lynn Wabbit

Scrambled egg wrapped in Tassal salmon and danish pastry . So good!

May Loh

Plenty of choices here! They don't take bookings tho we didn't wait as we came for an early lunch . Staff aren't super friendly so a bit surprising in Tassie. Would do take away if u decided to return.

Manuela Forster

Got stuck choosing what to eat, that my mates and I took some home to eat as well . Delicious pastries that are soft yet crispy , portions just right. Perfect start to a day!

Mary Carroll

Salmon avo and poached egg rosti was great. Coffee fab . Attententive service. Loved it.

Jeffrey Mok

Scallop & wakame pie is very delicate, tasty and has a generous amount of scallops

Alexandra Daw

Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous. Wish I could have eaten more. Just try and resist the cakes . We didn't.

Mary

I enjoyed both savoury and sweet here. Delicious. Lots of options.

Virginia Gordon

Go early - people queue to enjoy great pastries and more - we missed out twice this visit as it is deservedly so popular:) Tables on footpath less noisy than inside

Angela Stengel

This place is amazing. So many delicious things in the counter that I wish I had a week in Hobart to try lots!

Polly Venning

Great pastries , bread but really don't need the staff attitude and for goodness sake don' try to get anyone’s attention to order a 2cnd coffee .

Damon Garrett

Is there a better way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning in Hobart ? Arrive early for friendly table service and an impossibly good selection of bread , savory pies and pastries .

Mike Brosche

Chorizo in pastry was a nice snack , BLT is good too

Mazil

Beef pie has sneaky vegetables (carrot and celery ), but this makes it even tastier!

Suraj Varma

Duck , cranberry and walnut sausage roll was absolutely delicious!

Matt Skalicky

Great food. Good atmosphere. Always check the specials on the blackboard.

Paul Bayly

Gluten free special with homemade chorizo was excellent

Graeme Duke

Everything is good here! Breakfast options never fail

Dennis Mouy

Pork Fillet on chilli bean

Coffee . Cakes are variable in quality. Vanilla slice liked great but pastry was disappointing.

Janine Beck

Love the coffee and caramelised onion goats cheese tart .

Kelvin Lim

Must try Panini with scrambled egg , avo, bacon and tomato .

Kristin Pedder

Make sure you read the specials board before you order. The standard menu is good but the specials are indeed special.

The pie pastry is excellent. So many flaky layers.. Lots of other tempting goodies too.

Lynn Wabbit

Slow cooked beef scallops & wakame pies !

Henk Joustra

Eat everything here especially the wonderful hot cross buns at Easter!

Dj Quickfingers

Great food and well priced. Recommend the side salad option with one of the delicious pies .

Mike Brosche

Plenty of really good options for brekkie

Bronwyn

Coffee is soooo good. Service is great. The only problem is deciding which delectable meal or pastry to have.

Dani

Delicious pastries . Excellent coffee !

Tim Waterson

Great for bread lovers, they don't do a simple scrambled eggs for breakfast though..... What Tha!?

Bryce Roney

The breakfast panini is my ultimate breakfast dish .

Molly K

Vegetarian Polenta slice is divine

Rejane Rodrigues

I’m not sure why this is considered a good bakery . The service ir bad, the food is just ok and the coffee is not good. Bad croissant and the “pie ” is not the original. Banjo’s is better!

Jacqui Bonner

Get here early on weekends or be prepared to queue.

Charlotte Pereira

Huge selection of cakes and pastries

Mazil

Best pies and pastries in Hobart !

Tom Manshreck

The croissants are quite good and authentic (and on the large side)

Carpe Diem

Duck pie @jackman

Johanna Baker-Dowdell

The brioche is amazing!

Eva Zheng

All the cakes and pastries

Marco L

We had to come to the end of the world to find the best café on the planet.

Eva Kay

Concentrate on the sweet stuff. Don't order breakfast after 11.
