Great choice of stalls... And so many. There is also a wide range of food... From Dagwood Dogs to Deep fried mushrooms , there's something for everyone. There is also lots of souvenirs and organics .
Great market . Rain doesn't stop anyone! Huge selection of handmade goods, produce, food, jewellery, bric a brac etc. Don't miss it if your down Hobart way.
Lots of local artisans and so many stalls! Lots of unique things, make sure you have cash handy, ATM lines get long. Try come early to avoid crowds. Walk over to Princes park afterwards to rest.
Don’t forget to hit the Truffle stall for amazing truffles and the 7k distillery for their legendary raspberry gin
Get there early and park near the dock. Lots of food and drinks place, fresh and homemade product and off course Tassie made product in reasonable price. Love it !!!!
If you are a local that can make the most of the fresh produce then worth the trip. For everyone else it's just an outdoor souvenir shop run by assorted carnival folk.

Find the Gypsy Rolls food van, rolls are delicious with unique sauces. I had the Gypsy roll and jolly jumbuck roll.

Take the free city shuttle here instead of diving because parking can be quite a problem. Credit card accepted in most shop.

Nice decent size market with new and used wares. Gets very busy with tourists .

Lots of overpriced local produce and handmade goods so it's great for tourists and last-minute buys.

Search out the small but awesome sausage stand. It also does bacon and egg rolls .
The German Bratwurst was yummy and so was the firewood pizza . The mixed berries crepes were disappointing. The inside uncooked and inedible.

These markets are huge. Be prepared to be walking in a crowded area for a couple of hours.

If you want a bargain especially fruit & veg , get there about 40 mins b4 closing. Everything is drastically reduced
Mongrel Socks are a Must for travellers not used to the Cold... especially the Arm Warmers!! *8vD
For lunch I recommend a bratwurst with sauerkraut , and in summer, you can't beat a cup of fresh raspberries with cream.
