The green hokaido ???? is the bomb, so much sweeter and juicy compare to the orange color melon @ ¥500 per slice. Snow crab leg is very fresh with natural sea water taste @ ¥5000 for 2 leg
Come here early to have your breakfast . Lots of cheap sushi and grilled seafood to tempt you along the way. There's cheap local fruits as well . Just a short walk from Namba station.
Lots of sushi & uni stalls but look for the uni stand with lots of people as that one would is the best place for fresh uni in this market !! Must try if you love uni!!!
A great place to grab some breakfast in the morning, as a lot of spots along Dotonbouri open around 10-11am. You can pick up plenty of seafood , wagyu , fruit and even fugu (puffer fish ).
Braised beef tendon skewer abit chewy but flavor on point. Azuki mochi is something I dearly miss in Japan, redbean paste was so smooth. Red octopus just for instagram purpose. Tamago quite fluffy
Found a shop that situated just the end of the market street which sells cheaper Japan melon . Personally I have tried both the shop, equally good but with different melon texture and sweetness to it
The most active market in Osaka . Everyday fresh tuna , oyster , crab , Kobe beef , etc.
Found a white ichigo/strawberry which is consider quite huge, it was quite sweet. Big oyster was very plump and meaty. Pickle radish carry sweet salty with good crunchy texture
Sushi is very cheap here, and lots of fresh fruits with the attractive price. Also,this place was not too crowed so I enjoyed shopping there.
A nice stroll for snacking on some seafood skewers or deep fried stuff before lunch . There are also desserts and souvenir shops along the way.
So many choices, if you don't have much time to discover the whole Osaka just come here to find all kinds of delicious, maybe not the best but the most variable

Go earlier and not late evenings. So many things to see. There is Yamazaki whisky at a liquor shop near the exit.
So many incredible seafood vendors with very fresh fish . The sushi here was unbeatable.

During December only found 2 store serving fugu/puffer fish sashimi . It has good firm chewy texture. Worth a try

Visited in July 2017. Do not feel the market as good as the reviews. Some food not tasty and expensive . It's too crowded . Imagine you can walk only when ppl in front of you walk forward.

The Street Market of Osaka . A great selection of stores sell the most exquisite delicacies from Japan. Sea Urchin and Oysters from Hokkaido and Wagyu from Kobe. Get there early before 9.30pm.
Well . Commercialised with tourist but I out still get good seafood here and snacks .
Explore the other smaller lanes in this market . You won't regret it.
Not as big as tsukiji but still fun! Raw oysters were awesome
