This place is one of the best hotels in town , i enjoyed my staying here but 9.1 is a bit overrated????,the rooms are well designed but a bit dark & some don't have a great view ,the buffet can be better

Enjoyed their sushi bar , they had a good few selections and the service is good too,about RS. 700 a dish. They also have a coffee shop downstairs where you can order sandwiches for about RS. 350.

Best after drinking place to get some grub. The buffet is 1800 but if you just order from the menu you will get a good portion of kiribath or kottu for Rs.800/- . Their club sandwich is good!

Cozy environment and friendly staff . Non- alcoholic beverage prices are reasonable , actually cheaper than most places

Best place to hangout with your friends, colleagues and business partners. Pretty expensive but worth every single penny.

High tea used to be great. Royal Thai is out of this world. A friend took us to the Library which is out of this world.

The buffet spreads here are not brilliant for vegetarians . Nothing is marked and the variety available is quite poor.

The service at the Lakeside is the worse in Sri Lanka. You almost have to plead to be served.
