Must see in Luang Prabang. The exhibition is really well made. We really enjoyed the manufactured vs hand-made sections :)

You should definitely see the Cafe behind the museum 's shop. Good information on how to distinguish between handmade and factory made textiles. You'll value the stuff sold at the market even more then

Best part was the cafe which is right behind the museum 's shop. Here they explain the difference between handmade & factory made textiles. You'll appreciate the stuff sold at the market much more then

I read technology center and I was not “getting” the museum . It’s pretty interesting to learn from different cultures , it is short tho.

Organised but small exhibition . Not really worth 25000 kip. If you like to learn more the Laos culture , then can spend 20 mins in there.

Jonathan Rossman

Very small and relatively expensive for what it is.

A great mini glutes workout. Best time would be to leave around 5am to make the 6am subrise or catch a breathtaking sunset just before 6pm. Make sure you bring your camera along! - Lauren Melnick
