This is a Hobart institution!!!!! Must go have a coffee and the mushrooms on toast (add a side if aioli !). The grandma made chocolate cornflake biscuits are also delicious. Watch Salamanca go by.
My favourite cafe in whole world, been there as long as can remember, still serving great coffee and solid food, like an old friend.
Great food! Came for brunch and had the scrambled eggs and the cheese and chive pancake (a special). Yummy and friendly service .
Start the day with a relaxing morning cup and try the breakfast special with smoked salmon , poached eggs , fresh asparagus and aioli . Breakfast before 11 am.
Squashed in, great cake selection , great coffee . What more could you ask for? Everything I like in a cafe .
Bring cash. I know it's called Retro but no eftpos or credit card facilities in 2013 is just stupid!
