The former castle is a blast, has fast wifi and enourmous breakfast options . Enjoy the garden view , stroll around in Jesmond Dene Garden and neighborhood and explore the city 's piece. Hard beds though
Free wifi (and it's fast...20Mb down) and good phone signal with O2 for me. Great room (33) is in the roof up a few stairs from where the lift stops.
One of the North East’s finest hotels , favoured by celebrities who visit Newcastle but genuinely don’t want to attract attention. Situated on the edge of Jesmond Dene it’s blessed with good walks.
What an oasis- 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre and set in a wonderful park - bird song, running stream- beautiful. Decadent service, quality of room and meals
This place is sublime. Get a hamburger , white russian , and the Rhubarb & Vanilla Pavlova to your room. Yum. Because you're worth it.
If you love the arts & craft style, amazing food, and overall total awesomeness - this is you place. Magificent!
Lunch menu is the way to try and enjoy without the cost involved with the evening menu. Best Resturant in town .
Beautiful hotel but.....toilet seats are unbelievably uncomfortable.
The wireless internet access is very poor as is the cell phone coverage . While the hotel is beautiful, it is not practical for business travel
Try the coffee and 'homemade ' biscuits mmmmmmm
Very expensive , I was charged tonight at my friends wedding evening £10.80 for 1 double vodka and coke
Starting on a high with my venues. Thank god for Eat festival I'll be trying this out tomorrow.
Poor mobile reception but free Wi-Fi means with apps like WhatsApp and Skype and of course e- mail means you are not cut off.
Wireless ain't free but there's minimal 3G coverage here.
Lovely rooms and service 1st class .Enjoyed lovely steak and drinks . Housekeeping made the room exceptional with rose petals in our room .Best hotel in Newcastle - Kevan Shutt
What a lovely welcome! Friendly staff doing their job as they should and more. Got offered an upgrade to the suite facing the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and river. Really nice touch, cheers ;) - Nina Poppy
Been a couple of years since I've stayed here but this is still an excellent hotel. Modern, stylish, great rooms and food. Thoroughly recommended. - Dave Skupski
