The Nasi Kandar Line Clear is one of the must try places in Penang. U may queue at the counter for "kuah taruh atas" style or call for the separate dishes and they will serve at your table.

The line , clearly long, indicates the popularity of the place. If you thought the line was bad, get ready for the table hunt! Be prepared to see a lot of grime. The Nasi Kandar is tasty.

..tasted it couple of times and my verdict..curries a bit strong and plus..while you're havin' your meal..might be lucky to see ratatouille(rats) size of contander!..plus rice a bit soggy..

The fish roe and fried chicken are my favourites. Pile on a mixture of gravy for that extra kick. They have tomato rice on certain days, ask beforehand.

This is one of the most best nasi kandar in town . You have to line up for your dinner . Many variety of curry to choose. Locate at the center of the town . Easy to go.

Nowadays got parking lot to park your vehicle & walk along the backstreet behind the restaurant & it's really convenience for patron. Verily enjoyable the foods in here. It was awesome & truly penang!

Photo looks bad I know. Tried this since everyone said it's good. I'd say meh. Had better ones in KL. In fact I had the best in Ampang and it originated from Kedah.

Will definitely stop by whenever I'm craving for Nasi Kandar. The customers comes from all walks of life. But the owner really need to look into cleanliness of the establishment.

If you are Nasi Kandar fan,this one should be in your list. Avoid coming during lunchtime as you will have to q under hot sun. Always ask for mixed curry as nasi kandar is all bout its mixed curry .

Had to walk through such a small lane for this super delicious nasi kandar...paid rm9.50.. which I think is totally worth it!

Still good. Curries very tasty but fresh not only in terms of preparation but also in taste - non powdery kind. Ayam madu was tender and juicy to the bone!

The queue is long and I hope it's worth the wait. Price almost the same as KL but overall, taste - price - service - environment - I would choose KL Nasi Kandar anytime. Cleanliness is vital

If friday come early before 1pm otherwise you have to wait till 2pm. short break for Friday prayer. After 2pm full house!

Another 'artisan ' and classic 1930 nasi kandar. Super delicious and damn cheap . Expect a long queue during peak hours; come in early morning instead b4 exploring penang.

The curry is just really spicy comparing to other Indian restaurant 's curry , the rice portion is alot for me. Ask for only vege and curry , that costs me RM2. Enjoy :D

I ordered nasi briyani , lauk campur , ayam goreng and bendi and that's it. Yummy as heck!! Even the uncles who served me the food were so friendly to me. He made my day!

my fav nasi kandar since dont know la. my ritual wud be nasi putih setengah, ikan bawal kari, daging hitam & telur goreng mata. the best!!

This year went twice after coming back from overseas.The curry chicken 's gravy seems to be "thinner" than it used 2b. And the rice was too moist.Not as good as b4. Curry daging still as tasty & tender

The cuisine was so delecious! But its a bit expensive . 1plate cost about rm10.50. but its worth it

Its curry is really strong however when mix with sambal belacan , it turned out just fine. Drinks here like teh ais and nescafe ais are really really sweet, very kick la mamak !

During lunch time mmg ramai. Kena jadi ganas sikit macam mafia cari tempat hahahaha. But when you taste the food, meleleh bak hang. You want it for the second third fourth time. Nora bagi 4 bintang!

I used to like this place a lot. A must place to visit whenever i go to Penang. But since the new management take over, the price increase & the food quality was not that good anymore. So bye2.
