Good hotel very scenic except for sulphur smell from Lake is quite strong. Limited parking near hotel so have umbrellas handy in case rain n park away from hotel entrance
Really great place to stay - close to city centre and just across the lake
Ask to get a room in the new building. The old one is really outdated, rooms smell funny and the floor in the bathroom was sticking to our feet
If you book a Superior Room and get free Wifi then you may have remind the reception staff . They won't set you automatically. They might even deny all knowledge of the offer. Poor.

Nobody warned me about the smell. I thought my rental car had a problem as I drove into town . How do you guys live with that?!
For a hotel the standards are terrible. No aircon. The electric fan is very dirty and covered in dust like it hasn't been cleaned for 2 months. TV in room didn't work.
Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms very dated. Foyers and generally rest of complex very tired. Was incredibly cold in the conference rooms. - Kirsty C.
Great location near plenty of Restaurants & Shops. 5 minutes walk from Rotorua Info Centre, 2 minutes walk to The Lake. 5 minutes walk to Kuirau Park. Nice comfy King beds. Very clean. I'll be back. - Karen Wilson
Great spa! The private deluxe pool is the way to go. Max 30mins and it's more than enough time. We did 30 and were ready to head home. - Elizabeth
