Good insight to a Peranakan's way of life.. But brief & limited descriptions. It'll be recommended for the guided tour . Best to schedule yourself a 2 hrs slot for this museum to make your money worth.

This is the 5th Peranakan Museum I have visited. There is also in Singapore, Manila, Indonesia, Melaka too. I am a fan and peranakan itself of Indonesia Chinese Peranakan.
Go to the back of the mansion and you'll find a nice little cafe in the kitchen of the mansion. It is kept just as it was in the past plus they serve a pretty good chendol.
As someone with Taiwanese background but knows nothing about the Perenakan culture, this was a great place to visit. Get on a tour and definitely visit the jewelry museum & the temple .
Is a great place for those who like antique very much, u could find plenty here. Like Gold, silver, brass, ceramic, wood, textile, glass. Many hand crafted worth to drop a visit.
Great place of peranakan mansion in Penang. Many stuff can be watched..Wonderful local female guide will tell you more interesting stories of the mansion and his owners.

Great building of Baba Nyonya . It's huge! You should take more pics here. There's 4parts:Temple , kitchen which sell great durian coffee&tea, Jewellery sites which sell nice silver, house site.
