Worth the walk. I see it as a safe place, in the daytime anyway...never been at night. I enjoyed the view . Can get hot, so bring a cold drink with you.
Walk into over 500 years of history at the San Juan National Historical Site. Enter the walled city of Old San Juan through the grand Castillo San Cristobal fort.
Best views on the island hands down. Well worth the price of admission.

A must go to. It can take hours. It's huge. Explore everywhere.

Only had two beers available during our visit but steak quesadilla was tremendous

Try the walk outside the city wall from boat docks west to the Plaza and then up alongside the city walls. You arrive at the city gate, enjoy sitting under an amazing old tree and watch the waves. - John A
