The food is incredible good! Either sitting in the garden very casually or more Deluxe in Insider. The Setting is just beautiful! I had a pie I normally don't like but this one was just good!
Brilliant original chef with some really unique stuff! Order ahead and reserve the roast suckling pig ! For starter and main course!!!
Best to call ahead to reserve a table here. Ask to sit by the river . The Springbok loin is delicious.
You don't need a reservation to eat a light lunch in the garden . Beautiful.
What ever you taste you have to try the La Motte Millennium 2008 and La Motte Pierneef Collection Sauvignon Blanc (Organically Grown) 2010 Walker Bay fruit . Specially cellar-handled. Yum!
They'll make you feel bad for not making a booking , but the 'light lunch ' at picnic tables in the garden is more pleasant than eating inside the resto anyway.
Ribs were amazing. The veal was nice but not spectacular.
MUST order the Time For Tea dessert .
Try the warm honey-glazed snoek with butterhead sauce as a starter. Truly out of this world.
Need to try the beef flank for mains. Exploding flavors, especially the smoked potato mouse .
