Lovely short hike around the grounds, and great wine tasting in a really cool setting.
Large, popular wine farm . Make sure to book your tasting spot ahead of time to avoid disappointment - especially in peak season.
Beautiful place for wine tastings . There's also a walking trail , so you can end up spending the whole day here.

You can pay 50R at La Motte winery to hike a trail along the ridge with great views of the valley.
The 2011 La Motte Sauv B is sublime with hints of guava and pineapple , but you can't take it back to California so drink up while you're here!

Lovely Venue with beautiful sculptures in the grounds. Red wine vines are grown together with eucalyptus, this is a very distinct taste in some of their wine. - Nicole Mills
