Fort Lovrijenac, often called Dubrovnik’s Gibraltar, is located next to Pile Brsalj built on a rock wall 37 meters above the azure blue Adriatic. Legend has it that the fort was built by local residents in a mere three months back in the 11th Century.

It's ok. Cool being in a little fort and nice view of the old town . But the walk along the old town wall was much more satisfying to me.
When we were there there were not many tourists , which we found strange because the view was spectacular. We've been to the top of the cable car , but the view was too far, so doesn't feel realistic.
Free with the ticket for the city walls and also virtually tourist-free which is a blessing!
