Takase Shinichi is reputed to have invented Kawara Soba (Soba noodles served on a hot Kawara tile) here, inspired by the story of soldiers using tiles to cook during the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877.
久しぶりの、瓦そば たかせです。本館、東本館は趣のある日本家屋のため人気があり、昼食 どきは行列 が出来てました。南本館は、待つこともなく余裕で座れます。ある意味、穴場です。ちなみに、味はどの館で食べても同じです。
