Came here for the signature chicken floss mini mooncake ..the ingredient really generous.. Be careful while biting it with lots of ingredients.. Can consider as souvenir when u come to ipoh.

The meat floss lotus paste with salted egg definitely better than the one without. Surprisingly soft and flaky, filling was fresh and floss was not chewy at all. Would buy more and as gifts next.

Bought heong peng from recommendation and it was good. Crust is flaky, not tough and the caramel filling is soft melty type. So fresh compared to the usual prepackaged Heong Peng elsewhere.

Axian: 这款“潮州珍珠月饼”,同时融合了新与旧的元素,丝毫没有任何冲突。革新的迷你形状,配上像珍珠颗粒的旧式饼皮,便是饼铺每逢中秋节就热卖的珍珠月饼。月饼分为竽泥和斑兰莲蓉两种内馅,斑兰莲蓉还额外加入了具有食疗功效的松子。制作方式是以油皮裹着内馅,然后以饼模压出小巧的月饼,之后就不断地在饼皮上洒水。这是一种古法,目的是饼皮在油炸之后,可以呈现类似珍珠的颗粒,这种古方即便在潮州原乡也很少见了。

Axian: 除了这种应节的大型朥饼(La Pia),钟汉元平日也制作小型球状的朥饼(La Pia)。但是无论大小,朥饼的材料大概都离不开芝麻、糖冬瓜、油葱、肥猪肉和五香粉等等,当中的主角就是潮州人口中“朥(La)”,也就是让内馅吃起来润滑浓香的猪油。猪油无可替代的香味,加上糖冬瓜的甜味,便是朥饼(La Pia)最潮州的滋味。
