Best kaya puff around! And the salted egg pastry is super fresh! The egg yolk is so satisfying! But please don't expect 5* customer service, the shop is run by er, practical old timers.
Delish Chinese pastries and kaya puff . All of the Chinese pastries were extremely greAt! Loved the one with green bean + salted egg yolk . Along with the husband biscuit the one inside is white color!
They also stock a wide variety of local snacks & biscuits . It's a big shop, so you can imagine the breadth of choices. If you are a local, you would probably find your fave childhood snack here ????
Do not be detered by the queue if any. The 1 hr queue is genuinely worth it. (Mini) kaya puff Rm 0.90/pc . Salted egg yolk pastry is rm3/pc, worth every cent!
We called a day before to place our orders, and collected our kaya puffs within 5 minutes. If you don't order in advance, then have fun queueing!
Kaya puffs bought in the afternoon. Case still fluffy outside, kaya moist and sweet inside in the late evening.
Don't need to call to order in advance anymore. Showed up at 1pm after lunch in a working Tuesday, & grabbed 4 boxes of the popular kaya pastries . Short queue
Old school pastry house. Short queue during lunch time (good timing perhaps). RM6 for a box of 5. The pastry is very flaky, but the filling doesn't have the fragrance of kaya .
Awesome daily fresh kaya puff ! No booking is accepted hence and they will only bake on demand (hence fresh). Their kaya puff is crispy and arent too sweet.
They also carry the trending 189 beh teh saw aka "Heong Peng". Individually wrapped, each tasted crisp, with generous amount of molasses
Very good kaya puff with generous amount of kaya filling. Not too sweet. 10 for RM9. ????????
the best kaya puff i ever have!! Pastry and the Kaya are perfect! Price is increasing year to year but is worth to try!
The famous kaya puff in Ipoh can be grabbed here too :) Don't wanna wait in line so long at old town ? You can get it here without waiting. Kayapuffs made here are sent to Sin Eng Heong.

Slightly sweet kaya puff but still the best in town . Love the fresh baked goodness ! Same for the pong piah (aka heong piah)

Must call & booking in advanced! But even booked u still need to queue for them to pack the fresh baked from oven to u when collect
Be prepared to queue up for the kaya puff . The queue is worth it the moment you sink into the puff. Flaky crust with fragrant kaya .
Good Kaya bun but lots of people not ordering and then queue and buy up like 100 pieces and everything, causing the queue to be super long. Owner should limit how many walk in customers can buy
Like their fresh baked kaya puff RM 1 each .. long queue always
The kaya puff is a must try. Be warned: Long que for weekends, publuc holidays & holidays.
Overated la....maybe best in Ipoh but you can defibately get the same standard in many places in KL.
As what was mentioned by the others, pre-booking is a MUST. The pastry is crisp and the filling is just nice, not too sweet. Eating it on the same day is recommended
