夫子廟（Confucius Temple）：南京标志性景点之一。位于南京市秦淮区贡院街。“夫子”是孔子弟子对孔子的尊称。夫子庙景区的古建筑群由孔庙、江南贡院等组成。为江南文化枢纽之地，是秦淮风光的核心地带。 夫子庙街市是中国著名的传统古街市。明清鼎盛一时，至今仍留著名名妓李香君等“秦淮八艳”的故居；现今传统元宵节夫子庙灯会等习俗仍盛况空前。 江南贡院，始建于南宋孝宗乾道四年（公元1168年）是中国古代最大的科举考场。目前是唯一的以反映中国科举制度为内容的专业性博物馆。 桃叶渡是“十里秦淮”上的古渡口，相传是东晋王献之妾桃叶渡秦淮处，“金陵四十八景”之一。

Boat tour was more fun than visiting the temple itself. While temple was pretty and calm , not sure if was worth the 30 RMB.
There's a exhibition behind the main part of this temple , which enables you to see more beautiful architecture
For 60 rmb the boat cruise during the day is very nice and relaxing 50 minutes. The tour is all in Chinese.

Take the automobile tour guide for just 10 yuan, worth every penny. They make the site meaningful.

Loved the boat tour . It was about 50 mins long and gives you many of a story about famous poets and poetesses.
