Great pub worth walking out of the centre to. Enjoy an ale on the balcony overlooking the river .
Great pub , right on the river Exe. Good beer selection and St Austells on tap , the stout was great. Good is very nice and large servings! Get the ribs !
Great location for drinks in the beer garden , food can be a little unreliable (long waits and often missing key elements) but carvery is good
Wonderful, wonderful pub . St Austell beers consistently served in the correct glass, decent food reasonably priced and relaxing views of the Exe. Perfect!
The Breaded 8-hour Cooked Pork Belly was fabulous, as was the sage cream and braised cabbage . Lush!
If you want to get a nice table you have to make a reservation . When you walk in onlu tables by the doors are nit reserved .

Been here since forever!!! Great in any weather. Love the breakfast, menus changed over the years, but definitely much cheaper than other pubs in the area. No 1 breakfast place on a monthly basis. - Ema Radzai
