The sinopias of the Catherdral (the preparatory sketches for the frescos ) have been discovered after World War II! You can now admire all of them in this museum .
The Museum of Sinopie is located in the Piazza del Duomo, in a specially restored wing of the Santa Chiara Hospital , built by Giovanni di Simone in 1257.
Really cool "sketches " of frescoes before they were painted, and great informational videos about the history of Pisa.
