You have to do this when you visit. It's only $3 dollars for an adult to go to the top. Beautiful view of the island and the surrounding area. Also visit the free museum next to it.
Great historical landmark , great for families or groups. Nice lesson learning of the Battle of Lake Erie . Recommend going to the observation deck.
Don't forget to visit the museum and watch the rifle demonstration . The rangers are super friendly !

The National Parks Service is one of the most wonderful things about are county . If you get a chance to go to any of them you should. Check out the video, ranger talks or demonstrations .
Watch the 15 minute film before going up in to the tower. It gives you the history and that makes the whole experience better.
