Great Pyramids of Giza is a historic and protected site Giza located in Egypt.
Al Haram Giza Giza Governorate Egypt
If you are a horse riding lover visit FB Stables and Ride in the shadow of the Great Pyramids or further afield on a half day trip to Saqqara or Abu Sir or camp out over night with a barbecue and fire
The pyramids don't look that far from the road , but they're actually are really far, they're just wicked big so they look closer than they actually are. The camel tours are expensive , but worth it!
The pyramids a really, really huge. You might think about climbing one, but once you get there, you'll change your mind!
The pyramids are really a must see, bucket list item. If you have the opportunity, you definitely have to do it.
It's amazing to visit pyramids at the age of thousands... No words enough to describe them. Get rid of people who asking money from you all the time
I would recommend to avoid crowded hours even if the weather is hot to have a better experience. Camel tours are 100 EGB / 30 min / 1 person
Amazing historical place. Disappointing how it is maintained - need to clean up, remove camel riders and various sellers who harass tourists , keep buses off the site on the parking .
Avoid going in the summer. Exhaust the heat will kill you. It's a magical place and it's worth enjoying every moment.
A bucket list destination! Be prepared for crowds & people trying to sell you souvenirs, camel or horse cart rides. Wear good walking shoes . Watch out for pick pockets. Check seasonal opening hours.
You can walk to the panoramic view yourself (20 min). Ignore people blowing whistles and saying areas are closed unless they’re police (insist on seeing proof, lanyards with fake “badges” are common).
Bring a hat.Make sure you have enough water. The sun is very unforgiving even in winter.Be weary of simply taking pics of camels.
Preferably to travel everywhere in Cairo with a tour guide cz so many conman especially here in The Pyramids and Sphinx . Pls bring along surgical mask.
Amazing !!! 160 eygpt pound for the lightshow at 19:30 pm. take a guide with you. It is not a good idea to visit alone. 10.0/10.0
For visitors, please treat Pyramids like you treat Eiffel Tower. Cuz if you don't, I'm afraid one day you'll missed the chance to visit it again.
When you visit ,you truly realize they are wonders of the world! Ride the camel carriage to avoid the sun it can be brutal..Carriage fares may be exaggerated..don't forget checking out Sphinx
The "voice of the Sphinx " narrates the history of the Giza Plateau and its place in Egyptian history, as a laser display picks out the details of the Pyramids and displays historical scenes.
There's always swarms of people, so make sure to allot enough time to enjoy the area at your leisure. A private guide is a bonus, if you want to soak-in the good side of the experience w/o the stress
One of the greatest places on earth. Marvel at theses incredible wonders. You don't realize how hot it is inside until you come back up for air and the desert wind feels cold on your face!
Beware! After entering the car gate, men may direct your taxi into this area to get you to take a horse carriage to the ticket office . Unnecessary, and useless! Continue on to the ticket office .
Known as Khufu's Pyramid, it is the greatest pyramid of the complex: a truly overwhelming sight. Being one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, it is the only one still standing to this day!
Located just outside of the outskirts of Cairo on the esplanade known as the Giza Plateau, the Great Pyramids of Giza is the must-see Ancient Egyptian landmark .
The trick here is for you to assess your expectations, visit, enjoy, and feel the place and the monumental buildings, however, don't let yourself be stressed by the sellers.
Try not to use camels for transportation since they might be beaten to function and interact. Getting sunscreen and water is a must to enjoy the beauty of this place.
Great Pyramids of Giza was one of the more wished for places throughout 2015’s I Want Somewhere holiday campaign. Where’s your somewhere? Enter to win a bucket list experience. Read more
Go with an Egyptian guy, or you will get annoyed by people who wants to let you use their carriage or ride their horses and camels. Don't believe those who tell you they're from ministry of tourism
Do come with a guide to avoid the harassment from hawkers. Try the camel ride too - It should cost you about 100-200 EGP.
Common sense: nothing is free. Nobody has access to sectet areas. Safeguard valuables. Be polite but firm with hustlers trying to make a dollar. Most of all, enjoy the Pyramids - they are spectacular
Reading books and watching TV Shows with references to these marvels are such a shame. As a historical buff, it's absolutely worth repeat visits.
If you go past the sphinx to where they usually hold the light and sound show, you can see all the 9 pyramids in a row (yes, there's 9, though 6 are smaller than the three big ones!)
The only structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still stands today. Take bus routes 355 or 357 from central Cairo to get to this mysterious and breathtaking site.
One of the best Tourist guide in Egypt ????????❤️????
Every solicitors pretend 'observer' taking ticket from foreigners. And then they beg for 10EGP with screaming "go away to your country , if you don't wanna give me money" . I never wanna go there again
If You decide to go insinde You should know this: very narrow corridor that goes first down and up. Extremly low ceiling. You need to bend all the way. At the end enter bigger space. No fresh air !
The great pyramids appear in an establishing shot in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) when James Bond goes to meet Aziz Fekkesh during the spectacular son et lumière show.
A once in a lifetime experience! Get ready to venture yourself into Cheops ', you'll never forget! Make sure to stay hydrated at all times and bring sunscreen to avoid a sunburn! 50% off to ISIC!
that's all in Cairo . just jumped. and breakfast near the river Nil. not a place to be seen very necessary. but sharm-el sheikh is must!...
Impressive site, totally shaked my logic. Worth every penny to visit. Don't let the locals trick you into getting photos w/ a camel.
The pyramid is cool, just not comfortable when taking a photo and should be carefully because many who offer sufenir and ask for the money
Once ur in they'll ask for ur ticket ignore them it's their way of making money. We had a driver which helped with transport within d pyramids, go on d camel (not more than10-20 LE)& horses (5-20LE).
Don't step in the animal poop. Don't climb the pyramid if you are claustrophobic or have trouble breathing. Its not a long climb but the route is narrow and the air is stifling. It is a tomb!
Sami (+20122720584 or sami_elsisi@yahoo.com) is a very reliable taxi driver. Highly recommended: he made our 5-day stay a dream, bargained for us at Egyptian prices, took us anywhere at a cheap rate.
Sound and light show at the #pyramids is unforgetable experience #ereen_yousef_tour_guide_in_cairo <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://www.egypttravelgateway.com"target="_blank" data-sig="XP3Leeqsg6fOU1UzTb94d5gWB2s=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">www.egypttravelgateway.com</a> info@egypttravelgateway.com

My best ever ???? great view , lovely soul drug, very comfortable to be in there always
One of the rare marvels of this world! Magnificent day or night when its lit
If you enjoy a little bit of adventure, pay a little extra to go inside the Great Pyramids and have fun climbing and crouching through the low-height tunnels
Pyramids are a must see while you're in Egypt but unfortunately the guides there ( along the police who are complicit ) will make your tour really bad!
Odyoo Egypt Favorite: Be sure you have a Private Guide with you as their is going to be a sea of people. Head to the desert view for the best photos.
Go in the morning during summer time at night you can have desert trip near to them, amazing
A lot of nice shaped rocks to see bring some water , wear comfy trousers. don't listen to the thugs who are waiting in front of the door
What an amazing visit! Really touching To see the pyramids and sphinx!!! Worth every cent spent - Karla Tepedino
This historic places are awesome , the guides have a lot of information . I do not like the way they ask for the money! They take the money after what you expect it is free like a photo etc.. - Abdulelah .
