Extensive menu with Myanmar , Thai, Laos, Vietnam and western dishes. Sells some of the crafts from Pomelo next door. Wifi code is "monsoon.mm".
Some of the best food you'll find in Yangon! It's packed with tourists and it's a bit more expensive (about 15$ with drinks and dessert ) but you won't regret it! Free wifi though painstakingly slow :)
Excellent starters of Burmese Ginn Thoke (marinated ginger , peanuts , dried shrimp & garlic ) and Vietnamese ban ceo (rice pancake with pork , shrimp and fresh herbs ) With mSin course and drinks £15.
Great place for a variety of South East Asian food but remember there is a 10% tax and 10% service charge so you don't freak out when the bill comes
Located in a colonial building, this restaurant is a good place for two with dim candle light . salad around 2500Kyats, chicken curry 5,800Kyats and Tom Yang Gong soup 3,200Kyats.
Prefect restaurant in Yangon! It's gives a wide menu of all the Asian countries . So try a Thais curry or some typical Myanmar 's, Vietnamese or Laos food.
Very cozy place for dinner in Yangon, great choice of food at reasonable prices. I recommend the King Prawn in rich tomato curry !
Excellent cross Asian food served in a beautiful colonial house by the most dynamic service crew we had in Myanmar . Highly recommended.
Honey Ginger Pork was amazing, highly recommend this dish. Service is slow, but if you go close to when they close its much faster.
Service, ambiance, wifi , vast Asian food menu and comprehensive drinks menu.
Recommend the Myanmar dishes, the eggplant salad and the beef curry with ginger and spices
food is good especially eggplant salad and potato salad .
Try the stir-fried okra...was delicious! Also any of the curries can be made vegetarian .
Check to see if the excellent fair trade shop Pomelo is still upstairs. Get all your souvenirs here!
Amazing smooties! But fish cake tastes like soy
There has Not only Myanmar food but also Asian cuisine . Taste is fantastic.
A wide variety of food options that spans 4 different countries
Huge menu selection.. Fastest wifi (free) with option to make any dish as vegetarian , however unwontedly on the higher side, bland food are major let down..
Happy hour from 5-7pm means half priced cocktails . The lemongrass martini is sensational.
Soupe , aubergine , chicken , fish ...
The butterfish curry with coconut rice was great
Great food. Don’t miss the local steam fish
Absolutely mediocre, especially for vegetarian dishes . My friend got a fish dish and wasn't thrilled either. Our bill was 30k, wish we'd gone wild in China Town instead. Saving grace: ok atmosphere.
Free WiFi and different Asian cuisine in a bossanova and jazz vibes. Good
Nice colonial atmosphere. Food is ok. Drinks mediocre. But good place to meet up for a basic beer . It's the last lights and noise before the run down stretch of the road hits Strand Rd.
Overrated! This place has a huge menu spanning from Thai to Vietnamese. I ordered a tuna salad it was quite of a let down, I prefer original spots in town .
Excellent food, free WiFi , but mainly a place for tourists !
Burmese, Thai, Vietnamese.. big selection, good pricing..near The Strand.
An impressive range of south east Asian cuisine . And free wifi
No doubts. One of the best restaurant of south east asia...
Super fast wifi
Only westerners are taken care. They look down on Asian.
The Mohinga is delicious!
Try the lemongrass martini for a twist on the classic - it tastes absolutely deliciously without being too sugary-sweet the way a lot of cocktails tend to be.
True about front window
Cross Asia, food is only ok, there are better option in town
Food is just bad and bland, even for Burmese dishes.
Variedad de comida, ambiente y servicio
Schicker Laden nach europäischem Standard.
Curry di manzo con le cipolline ...
Very good introduction to Shan cuisine. Request a table upstairs for some quiet time. - fabian roosens
Super tasty and delicious food. Huge offerings. Quick service. - Durgesh Sthalekar
They offer a wide range of fair trade hand crafted souvenirs. Love their wooden serving boards, so much cheaper and better quality than those in Thailand or Vietnam. - Linh Lee
Happy hour Wednesday for $6 pizza...thin crust shrimp with onion, root was tasty. - Minh Nguyen
Superb scenic views & its spectacular architecture. A historic temple must visit when in Yangon especially if you're a Buddhist - Andrew O BC 翁
