The trip to the pagoda can be expensive but if you want to go without paying the foreigner ticket price just wait by the main entrance and ask or buy one of the tickets from a traveller leaving.

Impressive place, the pagoda after raining is amazing with cleaner gold and sparking from the sunshine.

This is really a nice and beautiful pagoda in Yangon. It's too large... and too many sightseeing.
