"lakeside best kandawgyi restaurant " near utopia tower: very oily dishes except the minced chicken basil . cozy place to have a cold drink in the shade of the trees and a great view over the lake .

Peaceful and a great place to hang out. Can jog and walk under good shades of trees . Oh and a wide choice of restaurants to choose from although they can be more than pricey .

Board walk is still under construction . Some parts of the path are privately owned so you might have to pay 1000 MKK to walk in if you are a foreigner.????

It's must be parades for foodaholic ????.There is a lot of various small restaurants in there.It's suitable for children to elders to visit.small zoo ,playground ,live bands in evenings,...so what's else?

Love the view of Karaweik palace andSchwedagon from the board walk (the former is a disappointment close up) and Signature restaurant at the end for dim sum .

Not too far of a stroll from Shwedagon pagoda. There's some restaurants located inside that offer nice views and decent meals. Foreigners have to pay a 300 kyat entrance fee.

Great place to picnic with friends and family and also chill on the weekends. Great place to jog and bike too.

Outdoor activities

The boardwalks around the lake can be quite tricky to navigate, as some of them don't seem to have been replaced for a while. Wouldn't jog on them.
