Tasca is one of the very best restaurants I've visited. Basically, everything is delicious. The grilled mushrooms , the Tuna steak , the octopus , the Lapas grelhadas, and the Bolo Lêvedo.

Just skip the usual salmon and go for the fish of the day. Super-delicious. And finish the day with octopus with onion chutney . Best in town .

if you can spend only on one dining experience while in sao miguel , let it be a tasca. The value for money here is beyond supreme. we had a variety of dishes (meat based) and were truly happy.

Everything is good, you can go all-Azorean and die of gluttony. And wine is good too, try some white from Pico island .

This place has it all- amazing ambience and delicious food/drinks. Went here twice on our trip to Sao Miguel and will definitely be back on our next trip there!

Exceptional place. Try the meat, try fish of the day, try anything - it will be just delicious. But be sure to make a reservation : between 19:00 and 23:00 without it you don't really have a chance.

You MUST try the grilled Octopus with sweet and sour chutney . The Tuna Carpaccio and set of Smoked Sausages were delicious too.

Great tapas to try.. Cheese and smoked sausage . Breaded octupus with onion compote. Shrimp plate. Ordered Pork fillet and Tuna Steak w/ sesame seeds as entrees. All very good. Get the Vino Verde!!

Just asked for fresh fish , chosen one od them randomly, and was really wonderful! House wine (red) was nice, and a friend took a mousse , said it was wonderful! Definitely a place to visit again.

Definitely make a reservation . I don’t think it’s the best food I had on the island , but the atmosphere and price help make it a great place.

Very nice service, very personal and wonderful food. Many people, so therefor a lot of noice in the restaurant . Best dinner on Sao Miguel so far! We will come back before leaving :-)

Very nice local restaurant with amazing service and lovely food. I personally recommend trying “Pote à Pescador” - delicious fish stew served in very original way. Absolutely worth visiting.

The place can get very busy, so make a reservation or be patient. Friendly staff , especially if you speak some Portuguese. Many local specialties , the portions are very generous.

Amazing restaurant , do not miss it when you are in Ponta Delgada! We tried four randomly from the fresh fishes , all of them were great! Very nice service!

Surely among the best places to eat in S. Miguel. Try the tuna with seeds and the cod fish . You should probably make a reservation since it tends to get full even on weekends
