Our favorite restaurant in Myanmar, a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Standouts: paratha , pork neck satay , chicken biryani , coffee , and teas . Great vibe, too.
Probably best find so far in all the eateries we've been to. Chinese and Burmese food in a great modern venue with a small retail shelf/shop across the restaurant . Decently priced wine/yummy coffees !
great place! a really beautifully restored tea house in an old rangoon house. first floor, not so obvious to find. poular for food also. dont go for the coffee : it is a tea house!
Definitely the best food and service in the city . You can't go wrong with any food or drink selection. Definitely coming back here again. We had the mutton lamb biryani rice and mango pork curry
The prawn puri was delicious (not big though). If you want a big portion , go for tea leaf salad .
A must-visit when in Yangon. Mostly locally sourced ingredients, a great and inspired menu, the perfect place to taste yourself through local food in its comfortable restaurant versions.
loved the food here:) savory over sweet - we loved all the indian dishes we ordered like samosa , chicken biryani , paratha 😍😍 // desserts & tea - nth special. great hangout place overall
High end restaurant with amazing food. The food is slightly pricey (especially if you are a backpacker) but you can still find some inexpensive options (eg lovely mohinga )
Meticulous attention to detail, feels like a place with rich culture and history — actually recently opened.
Contemporary tea house, try the tea leaf salad or the jumbo shrimps , you can also try the Mhoinga (big portion ), great cocktails !! They accept credit cards payments!!!
good sweet black tea with evaporated and condense milk , delicious lemon mint soda (very best after a hot day in the streets of yangon).
Yangon street food and tea in a beautiful setting on the first floor of a renovated vintage building. Definitely a top place in Yangon.
The food here is delicious, a mix of Burmese and Indian food on the menu. The chicken biryani and nyaungyan chili chicken were good. Nice interior and service albeit the place is little pricey
The tea leaf salad is some of the best. We got the chicken biryani and the pea paratha (big portions !) and they were excellent.
It gets really packed so reservation recommended.Good food.Loved the tea.Service can be a hit&miss only because when it gets so busy,it’s hard to catch their attention.
Everything about this place is on point except for their music . Perhaps some relaxing tone for breakfast instead of lounge playlist all day long?
The food is probably not very authentic but is super good. I tried all the meat curries , the potato samosa and finally the chocolate samosa ! Everything was great.
Definitely for tourists , but the food and drinks were all very good and the a/c was welcome. We stopped here while waiting for our train in the afternoon.
Worth the wait and price. Everything was tasty! The chai tea might be the best I’ve ever had.
Nice decor and vibe, service was so/so, chicken curry was ok, not great. Loved the vegeterian samosas and the chili chocolate mousse as dessert . Go for bottled red wine instead of house glass
When you walk in, you got the feeling you are in London hipster cafe , not in Yangon:) food is good, tried Samosa Salad - recommend!
Delicious and hip , this place is a must. Some faves include the pork neck , paratha and biryani
The pork satay skewers was so tender!!! Must try 👍🏻
A good place to chill and hang around. Even though abit pricey , the food, the decor and the service justify it.
Modern and polished café with a vibe of a bygone era. Very nice smoothies and a quiet space to catch up on some work!
Try this grilled freshwater prawn . Very good!
Lovely. Get a wide variety, u can not go wrong. But the beer or liquor . Coffee only weak spot. Lovely lovely place🌊
Limited options for vegetarians but does feel like a coffee shop in NYC packed with Westerners. No breakfast menu .
Yummy food.. abit expensive . If you wish to dine in peace and soak in the pretty ambience... avoid rush hours.
Coffee is great - try their latte , which is not only very good, but nicely served with snacks on the side.
Nice tea house with good food and drinks. It is packed with foreigners. Deserts look better than they taste ;)
Must try mohinga ! Had the grilled freshwater prawns , it was gooood 👍🏻
Yummy food albeit more expensive than what you can find on the street but at least you can eat without having to worry about getting sick
Everything is good! The bar upstairs is fantastic too!
Tea leaf salad , si lone tea , and mohinga are all really good.
Try the soft shell crab bao !!
My favourite is the decor and the si lone tea (milk skin tea ) varieties.
Delicious Burmese food , good coffee , great cocktails
Tha atmosphere and masala tea . Hype place for young Yangon hipsters
Very nice! Good food and drinks, especially the chaijito and also friendly staff ! 👌🏻
One of those kind of places only westerns can afford to dine in. Nice food, but don't expect Asian prices.
Hipster hangout . Modern version of local food. Coffee is good but not the best in town . Go to Easy Cafe .
This place is da bomb! Love coming here for lunch . Interesting additions to menu always.
Vegetarian Biryani - if your vegetarian !
It might be touristy , but it doesn't make it less delicious.
Milk tea , tea leave salad , fried butterfish 😻
Quite fashion place I found at Yangon, but the taste is not that good... Kinda miss a decent coffee
It's good but a bit overpriced. Every time I went there it was extremely crowded , which I didn't like too much.
Trendiest place in town that makes Burmese food cool
Nice little surprise up on the 1st floor - nice ambience and great menu.
For a quick and cheap Shan food. The table are small n limited. .not a place to hangout. . The fried chicken with plain rice is tasty. - Maxine Chong
Superb scenic views & its spectacular architecture. A historic temple must visit when in Yangon especially if you're a Buddhist - Andrew O BC 翁
Only the price of the goods... It's cheap and I like the tea place where anyone can sit outside and relax - Hank
Beautiful selection of souvenirs available. Take your time to browse.Just above Rangoon Tea House. - Aidu F
