The new Asian Tropic exhibit is gorgeous! Makes you feel like you're in Asia.
The buildings and exhibits have received LEED Platinum Certification. A total of 10 acres and more than 2 miles of trails to walk.
Truly amazing!!! The elephants now have a much larger habitat in addition to two add'l male elephants to frolick with.
We watched an elephant show and it was awesome!

There are two new additions to this exhibit. They were born in 2014 and it was decided that neither could live in the wild anymore after having been rescued twice. Now they call the Denver Zoo home. - Natalie
The building includes mammals, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and insects from tropical areas. The Komodo dragon exhibit is one of the largest in the country. - Natalie
Less than active polar bears when we went but a rather sizable exhibit for them to roam around in. - Natalie
Lots to see and do. Be sure to take a map so you don't miss out on anything. Food on site can be expensive. There are free admission days sometimes. Parking can be difficult to find. - Neal Wolff
