By far one of the best char kway teow in Penang using pork lard and charcoal fire. Come before 3pm if you don't want to wait an hour for a plate or for a table. Uncle cooks by the road side!

Be prepared to wait about 30mins or so for your order. It's well worth it when you try it tho. You can wait at the kafe and order a minuman while you wait & they'll serve your order of Char Koay Teow !

They have moved to a shoplot 200m away from the original push cart place. Rm7.50 for this big plate with egg . Rather small to me and ordering can be very chaotic as the son is a very forgetful person.

Super nice charcoal char kuay teow by the roadside. The char kuay teow has a nice fragrance of lard seasonings, I waited for around 25mins for this kuay teow and it's worth waiting for! :)

I cant deny this uncle really fry good CKT . Secret ingredient is the pork lard and of caz the charcoal fire. Bear in mind that the CKT indeed very oily and slightly wet.

It was slightly above average- the charcoal frying style imparted a nice taste especially with the crunchy pork lard . A bit long waiting time despite coming at off-peak, owner was not very helpful.

I think priorities are given to those who wait and sit at the café from across instead of those who queue in front of the stall.

Taste is good.. Order big and small size but turn out all the same portion. So advise to order small size as there is no difference.
