Awful man but the memorial has a nice view of Cape Town.
The view is about as good as it gets. The cafe is forgettable on a good day.

The Gothic-style tower was built in 1882 as the first Port Captain's office. During the Anglo-Boer War, the Tower became the HQ of Admiral Chichester. The Royal Navy occupied it during World War I. - RespTourismSA
