Welcome to the most beautiful garden of Africa! Soak up the sunshine, sounds and colours as you take a stroll around the stunning grounds. Tip: Make sure you don’t miss out on this unique experience.
The gardens are beautiful in themselves, but with the setting at the foot of table mountain , these botanic gardens are amongst the best in the world.
There is an entrance fee (R 65 by Nov/2017) but it is worth! Very beautiful trees and flowers . Also it is the entrance to hiking trails towards Table Mountain . We did the skeleton gorge trail .
Beautiful spot to chill out .
Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain , Kirstenbosch is one of the world's most admired botanical gardens . Tip: Take a walk on the "boomslang " wooden walkway for even better views of the gardens .
Beautiful botanical gardens . Spend a day exploring the gardens on the ground or on the Boomslang canopy walk. Concerts in the park are very popular in Summer.
Very nice place to visit. You may need 2 or 3 hours in this place ????????
Beautiful grounds and flowers indigenous and unique to the country . Enjoy for a stroll, picnic , catch a summer concert , and definitely grab lunch at the delicious tea house!
Must see! The gardens are enormous but I hear you can book a shuttle tour to see much more than one can cover on foot.
Gorgeous plants and views everywhere. Be sure to check out the garden of rare/endangered plants, the boomslang , and the aloe rockery.
The Kirstenbosch Tea Room is my favorite place to stop for lunch . They also offer a few picnic options that are worth exploring if you'd like to dine on the lawns of the garden .
Summer concert series! Picnicking in the sun + great music + breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. What more could you want?
Amazing scenery with the table Mountain in the background and should be visited in a sunny day..
Explore the rugged beauty of South African flora at this botanical garden , where sweeping lawns and exotic plants are set against the misty backdrop of Table Mountain . Read more
The most amazing botanical garden of the world... also a departure place of very sporty/adventurous trecks. Tried out the restaurant ...not cheap but good
Love love love this place. You could easily spend several hours here; bring a book/blanket/picnic or treat yourself to scones at the tea house.
Amazing views , perfect for a picnic . During summer time the gardens host summer sunset concers which is a blast.
You can spend a full day here and still you'll have things to see. We had a great time here
I walked through the gardens on my way to hiking table mountain vie skeleton gorge. I did not see a whole lot, but everything I saw was very pretty although it was dead winter.
Frequent gigs and concerts , particularly on Sundays so good for picnics and music , or just for a wander.
Do not miss the fragrance garden . Also the Skeleton Gorge trail starts here. Be prepared for it (water, snacks , and 6 hours of time).
If you love nature, this is the place you'd want to spend a day at.
Idyllic garden . One of the world's most beautiful. Head up Skeleton Gorge for an uphill hike with arresting views .
Be prepared. It’s quite hilly so brings some comfy shoes . Otherwise it’s beautiful with views of the mountain and the city .
The view of Cape Town over the wooden bridge is too beautiful for words!
Different trees and flowers from every where and you will be shacked????
Truly stunning place. Check out the Protea in springtime.
Can get crowded in the lower parts of the garden , but a short walk can usually lead one to a more tranquil environment in nature.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world.
Well worth a visit. A lovely quiet walk to compliment a busy city tour
Marvellous gardens a truly inspiring place full of floral and plant world beauties
There are two entrances, be clear to your uber driver which one you're at.
beautiful walks in the smallest and richest floral kingdom in the world---plus good places to stop for lunch or tea
You need to buy a ticket but prices are very reasonable.
Relaxing atmosphere .. Perfect place to go when there is a concert ..
Take a picture of a map before going in, because you will get lost!
