Learn how the Maori warriors trained , watch Maori traditional games, learn about their crafts and how they prepared their food. And be amazed by their performances . A must see. Dinner was good too.
Must do in Rotorua! It's an excellent experience! Try food that they've cooked in a ground oven called a Hangi . There is such a unique flavour in the meats and veggies from this method of cooking.
Super fun! Set in a beautiful Maori village , the Maori welcome the visitors in ceremony, then taken on a tour explaining some aspects of the traditional Maori life. Ends with a delicious hangi meal.
If you do the 7.30pm tour be sure to eat something before you go as dinner will only be served at about 9pm. Remember to bring a jacket as you'll be outdoors for a while. Overall a fun experience.
Absolutely worth it. Great experience and amazing feed at the end of the tour - make sure to volunteer a male friend/family member as chief ????
Food is awesome knowledge of the culture has grown leaps and bounds and they did it really well with respect and tradition.
Wallace is the best! Great guy, he really entertained us on our way to the village ! ????
Excellent learning experience topped off with an extravagant dinner .
A quick history and traditions of the Maori. Some nice activities for the crowd to join in with
I guess if you manage expectations and look at it as final performance alone it's decent and worth doing. But overall pretty disappointed relative to the reviews. 90% tacky kitsch and 10% education .
Excellent fun and a good hearty meal , well worth it.
it's more like the mauri cultural performance at Auckland museum in different settings.
Great fun. Glad our bus driver convinced us to do it
Seems to be overpriced. 0 of real Maori. All fake however sometimes beautiful experience.
One of the best evenings of our tour
Excellent experience - will recommend to tourists .

This is the registration and ticket office, you get buses to and from your hotel to the actual village as part of the experience. Do it, it's great. - Craig McManus
Great value for money, friendly staff and student-traveler vibe. Plus really good coffee! - Pavel Bulowski
Just a grocery store, although ???? times better than its yellow counterpart, with a bigger variety of vegetables and some organic. - Stéphanie
