Nice place and good comfort food . The coffee is not strong, regular sizes only have a single espresso shot so make sure to order a double shot if you like to taste the coffee and not only the milk .

I feel a great deal of nostalgia for Fat Dog - it reminds me of cafes from the 90s (that’s a compliment). Large space , friendly , thoughtful staff . The waffles are delicious

Tragically 90s but still cute . Wifi available. Veggie burger more like a stack than a burger (kind of scary!!) - ask for no aioli/mayo sauce to make vegan .

Ordered pork belly on risotto , the pork was burnt and chewy and the risotto was awash with surplus water. The worst part they wanted $28 for it. Good for lunch , but avoid for an evening meal!

Good coffee but food had gone downhill since our last visit. Big breakfast was bland and uninspiring, and my poached eggs were solid, not runny. Disappointing.

This place is trading on the past reputation. The food was poorly prepared with little love. The decor has had no attention in 10 years since the theme for the fat dog was set. Shame. It was so good.

I used to love Fatdog, but very disappointed this time. The seafood chowder is full of cheap surimi. I'm pretty sure they put MSG in their soups . I got an instant headache, dry mouth, and dizziness.

Really disappointing breakfasts . Just bland and no effort. It's like diner food . More imagination needed instead of such huge portions . Plus: Half an hour wait for coffee
