The Hudson Malone is a classic cocktail bar located just a few blocks north of the Affinia 50. It offers refined classic cocktails , inventive recipes pioneered by its many talented bartenders .
Doug runs the best bar in NY. Hands down. The service is top notch, old school know your name style. Order a mixed cocktail and you'll be hard pressed to find a better version in this city .
IF YOU KONW THE AREA...this is THE spot! It's the "Quinn-tessential" burger , atmosphere, service and vibe. It's NYC through and through. Come for Doug. Stay for the Burger...never leave!!
Came here for casual drinks. Lots of suits but infinitely better than the trash over at Turtle Bar or any of the other bro bars . Good beer selection and a great old fashioned. Well done.
A chill , easy going bar that is equally good for an easy pint with the game, or a great cocktail with a date. Kitchens open late , as well as the bar !
amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and truly great service. This is the first time I've ever longed to be a regular at a midtown bar...this place rocks!
Nice place for drinks and good tasty bar food!
Bartender/owner is so sweet and will make custom drinks! His food menu is also personal family recipes ! So cozy , obsessed
Go for the "El Burger ." Dry-aged beef topped with a bit of cheese and a big pickle chip . The thick patty might be a bit under-seasoned, but the quality is evident. Read more
I haven't even been there yet and I know it is legendary. The "Bowtie" is back! Happy to see that Doug Quinn opened his own place!
Essential Cocktail : The Boulevardier, with bourbon , Campari , and sweet vermouth . A throwback classic done expertly.
Nice chill place to get a drink with friends. Food is not great and alcohol selection could use some work, but the location and ambiance make it a good choice.
Best drinks line up in Manhattan - unparalleled service. A real NYC joint, a diamond in the rough and ready!
If it's crowded on the first floor, try the 2nd. It's cozier anyways (but with less beer selection )
This is now my favorite place in midtown. Gets crowded at Happy Hour , so be prepared.
Can’t help but always order the Chicken Paillard ! It’s delicious! Love this place ????
Amazing bar , service and music . Definitely coming back!
Fabulous "El" Burger ! Great Guinness , class cocktails and five star service!
Midtown East is littered with sports bars , and most of them are absolutely awful. Hudson Malone is the rare standout. You can watch a game here without hating yourself, and the food’s even pretty good
Best Bartenders , Great coctails &Food! One of my favorite bars in Manhattan!
Madame crunch, a twist on the traditional croque madame
Sliders were delicious, great Guinness . Doug and his staff take care of their customers
Great new midtown east after work spot. Grab the lone table at the front, if available!
Great, great burger . Perfect size, quality meat, fast service .
Great cocktails and sweet waitstaff !
Best spot in midtown
One of the few good post-work drinking spots in midtown east
Best burger . And pappy always available for a special occasion .
Great shared small plates - v yummy min burgers
Classic cocktails are the best
Happy to have Doug Q back behind the bar ! This place was desperately needed for the area.
Cheeseburger rivals some of the city 's best and the oysters are a good deal .
The further away from Doug Quinn you get, the less crowded .... ????
Great after work spot for a few drinks and a burger .
The EL burger
Good option for drinks in Midtown.
Awesome spot food it great!! Thanks Doug!
Start a light lunch with our Chilled Tiger Prawn Cocktail .

Quinntessential New York joint!
Start a light lunch with our fresh Shrimp Cocktail .
Old School NY bartender Doug Quinn 's new spot.
Drinks and burgers
Dark and quiet . Food not bad.
Old Fashion
Class Act.
Pushy with the food. random waiters get in your face, review 6 specials, interrupting conversation. Tries too hard for that "old school" vibe but fail to deliver the key characteristic: quiet drinking.
I liked the authentic pub feel and the servers were really friendly and attentive. Food was just ok.
In all honesty, over-hyped and over priced. It's same as any other midtown pub , but trying too hard & in denial.
Don't order any of the classic cocktails - the bartender doesn't know how to make them and then insults you when you send it back. Stick to beers and vodka sodas .
A really special restaurant. Everything we had was delicious and unique! - Emily Charlton
Good Irish food selection. Somewhat upscale and creative twists in old favorites. Try the Bangor Wonton! - Mike Kalen
Small sizes, better order two. Avocado spread best ever had! Everything is gluten free, heaven on earth :) - Linda L
The original and classic location. Had the Clarke burger with raw onion. Delicious and worth traveling uptown for the meal. - jiresell
Awesome ballet burger and delicious white wine sangria! I will be back :) - AT Berry
Get the Banana Bread Beer and the Founders Breakfast Stout! Great service and tons of fun! - Leah W.
