Some of the best oysters I’ve had. The lamb for 2 people was very good as well especially liked all the sides it came with. Take the broccoli as a side! Very delicious. Quite expensive but great place
The cocktail menu lives up to the surroundings and shows a deep respect for the history (and abundance) of British drinking with sours, fizzes and cobblers . Read more
Had the oysters , lamb to share and bresaola . Overall good experience but not mind blowing. Oysters were amazing tho
Set lunch meal deals provide a decent saving in what is a lovely old-world setting. Two courses for £29 means you can get a main and dessert and not have room for anything else. Skip the starter!
Lovely bar in lively and warm atmosphere ????. Great for meetings and drinks with very efficient and friendly service .
The cocktail is good! The place is great for dating.
I tried the Herb Cruster Sea Bass . And liked it. So try it too. See if you like it also.

Stopped for lunch . Slow service and pricy but actually surprisingly good food. Bread and whipped butter was awesome. Worth a try.
Enjoyed the full leaf english tea . The balcony was quite a good place for a business meeting, although a little loud at times with the trains arriving.
Pricey but spectacular place for a coffee or a drink. Feels like you've walked straight onto the set of a Bond film .
A whimsical bar is the only way to describe this incredible place. Great cocktails too!
They do Brambles even though it’s not in the menu ! :)
With Vegetable crisps for free this is the perfect stop off to grab a British ale or a British Empire inspired cocktail before leaping on a train from St Pancras. Read more
Lovely inside if you're eating, but there's a minimum charge of £7.50 for drinks inside, or they make you sit outside and pay £5 for a cup of coffee ... Crazy expensive !!
Very fancy but great. Excellent staff !
Nice bar with a great selection and great service
A wonderfully elegant bar where you'd least expect it. Worth booking
I'd you stay in the hotel as I did for 3 weeks, call ahead for a table otherwise it will web booked before 5 pm most days. Food is just meh, but ambiance is awesome.

They have a great singer on Thursday, Friday and Saturday...
heavenly great burget
You won't get much change out of £10 for one point, and they don't like you having luggage with you which seems ironic

Great bar and service. Average food. Hot food served on cold plates! Why oh why do restaurants persists in cold plate service?
Don't order the artisan breakfast basket- it's one stale croissant !
Ok. Oyseters are a bit plain. Fish and chips a bit too greasy
