It was only a matter of time before my daughter’s incredible ambition to visit every Rainforest Cafe in existence brought me here. This one has an adventure ride in the building - great fun.
Luch isn't so busy; no wait in the bar and it's family friendly ! Eat light lunch and save room for lava cake -- 3 scoops ice cream , chocolate sauce, whipped cream , caramel and 2 sparklers!!! 4 forks!
Ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken , was Not impressed! Love other foods, that's why I go back, plus the Jungle Scene, but tried this for first time and don't suggest! Cheese Sticks ROCK though :)
I had the Tropical Salad and hubby had the Lava Nachos . Food was great and more than we could eat!
Very cool experience. Chimi-cha-chas were good and the Tuscan Chicken was AMAZING! Volcano was festive and delicious but waaay too big for two people!
The food was surprisingly good. I bit experience. Lots to look at in the gift shop while you wait for a table. The Volcano is to die for but plan to share it cause it's huge!!!
No other dining experience is quite as wild as the Rainforest Café! With state-of-the-art décor and animatronics, it's a real jungle in there! Read more
Fun place for kids old enough to get what is going on. Little ones can be frightened of the noise and HUGE animals hanging from above them and the storms while you eat. Overall I enjoyed the visit.
Lava cake with fire sparkler! Yum! Hour wait so take pics outside by waterfall n volcano or do ride inside ehile u wait!
Neat tourist place, the decor is impressive though the "thunderstorm " every 30min. Could get annoying after a while. Food was very good, Really pricey though.
Out of most of the Galveston Landrys based restaurants this probably has the best food. Typical tourist attraction level quality but still better then some of the other restaurants around.
Order the Awesome Appetizer. It's fantastic and big enough meal for two with adding fries on side.
Surprisingly good, even for a 'local'. Want spicy go for the pastalaya, excellent! Use your landrys card for fast seating!
The kid loves it. If you include entertainment value, well worth it with kids.
Everything is great. Entertaining and delicious

Appetizer feat is a good option.
Not as good as the last one we went to. Little or no alcohol in signature drinks , very few vegetarian options , ribs a definite no....atmosphere nice
The tomato basil soup is FANTASTIC. By far the best tomato basil soup I've ever had.
Chicken fried chicken is huge order one and split it!
Slightly expensive ....but the tomato basil soup is amazing and the chimi-cha-chas are also delicious!
Get an alcoholic beverage and make a build a bear while you wait awesome!!
watch out for the balloon animal makers.... they work for "donations" but when you don't have cash - they don't make a balloon. strangest work for "donations" I've ever seen
Outside is just as cool as inside. Very packed inside though.
Great food (Chimi Cha Cha & pasta )! The kids loved it!!
BIG portions ! Share a meal!
Ordering a volcano is a must!!! And the ribs are excellent!!!
This is one of those places that you go to once. Food is average. No need to go back.
Nachos were awesome. Ribs and steak were awful. Not worth the good atmosphere.
The pot roast is really tender and quite delicious.
Robyn was a great waitress . The ride was kinda creepy for my daughters aged 12 an 14.
Pricey but never had anything that wasn't good. Very touristy during summer.
Over priced and just ok.... I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and got a pina colada I then ordered blacked fish tacos and I got fried fish tacos . :\ but I ate it cuz I'm fat and was hungry.
Chimi cha-cha is dee licious!!
Food is terrible. Definitely one of those places you pay for the atmosphere
Overpriced, but I guess it's an experience you should have once.
Sad to say, but my tip is to eat somewhere else. I love Rainforest Cafe, but the food and service of this restaurant get two thumbs down! Salty, pricy and no flavor!
Waiting time 2hours!!! Meeeh. Not with me.
Kids love it, but all the loud anamatronic animals and thunderstorm can be scary for little ones. Average food. Kinda expensive .
Waitress sucked, did not know how to manage time and tables. Food was aight. Not worth the price and hassle.
VOLCANO !!!!
Don't get the turkey wrap , it's average.
I was once proud to say I've never been here, now I must hang my head in shame... Overpriced bad food, and tourist trap...
Avoid at all costs. Food is terrible, service is worse
It is a little cheesy, but I thought it was worth it. Little kids will like it, and $6 is not too bad of a price. - Wesley Jobes
Get here early for breakfast: limited parking and very popular: leave room for beignets or take some home. Seafood omelet is delicious. - Dfw Dean
Great service. Great microbrew & local selection. I will be coming back! New fave. - Teresa C
Love the Spot! Great place to sit, relax and take in a drink or two. 5 different venues, close to the beach and the Pier. - Roz Hewitt
For $50 you can get an all-day admission to everything at the Moody Gardens. It's worth it, because you can literally spend the entire day exploring everything they have to offer. It's beautiful. - Social News Network
Getting there an hour before sunset was the best idea. Not as hot & the lights are spectacular. Make sure to book your Bubba Gump reservation well in advance though. We were told it was a 2 hr wait! - Jess Whelan
