Kouang Si Waterfall is a waterfall Luang Prabang located in Laos.
Luang Prabang Laos
Amazing place despite of tons of tourists . And probably the nicest waterfalls I've ever seen. Climb to the very top and take a quick bamboo boat for 10.000 p.p. to the spring. So peaceful ..
A must-visit place in Luang Prabang . Usual tour from 11:30- 4pm, or 1:30 - 6pm. About 1 hour travel time from Luang Prabang . The food there are slightly pricey compare to the one in Town .
Catch a shared van or tuk2 at 40k or 50k kip from town and journey takes 1 hour. Departure time is 1130am and spend about 4 hour at waterfalls . Climb up for secret pool and go for a dip . Nice view too
A must-visit in Luang Prabang . Get a group together and negotiate with tuk-tuk drivers. You can get a rate of between 25-30,000 kip a person. Entry to the falls costs 20,000 kip. Be sure to hike up!
Rent a scooter and go early in the morning (around 8-9 am) before the tons of “tour tourists ” arrive ????????.
These are breathtaking waterfalls with beautiful coloured waters. You can walk as far up as you want to but even the top most layer is only a 10 - 15 minute walk of fairly easy climbing.
The most picturesque waterfall I've seen in Laos. You can also swim in a few ponds along the way. Carpe Diem restaurant by the entrance is a must visit for lunch !
A "must visit" if you are in Luang Prabang . Truly beautiful!!! Walk right up to the top - there is a steep path on both sides!!!
Go early to avoid hoards of tourists who are just there to pose for photos and don't care much for enjoying the beauty of the waterfall
A beautiful place, lots of gimmick points to take photo, such a nice place to visit, swimming , wandering, and eating at the restaurants outside there.
20.000 kip entrance fee . Great trekking route to the top of the waterfall . Swimming pools down the fall quite refreshing. Best money spent in Luang Prabang .
Arrive early to avoid the crow as it gets very busy mid morning. Climb to the top on the left and down on the right. Swimming in the many pools to cool off is perfectas the water is a little cold
Stunning waterfall and watering holes for swimming . Well worth spending an entire day
Go to the top, have a nice trip on small boat up to the river . Take off your shoes to cross the river
Beautiful waterfall with emerald color. Easy to go by tuk tuk or 2 hour car rounded trip. Can swim but alot of tourists alerted
Beautiful! And be sure to go all the way to the top! But be warned: LOTS of tourists , and mind that you don't get smacked in the face with a selfie stick.
Unless your doing a quick walk through, you need at least 3.5 hours to see the waterfall , bear rescue and butterfly garden .
Maybe just dumb luck but we got here about 10:45 on a Friday, had the place almost to ourselves until about noon. If you're going to the top (worth it) flip flops aren't the best idea but will work.
A must do in Laos! Rent a tuk tuk in the city and visit the waterfall in the morning, so you avoid the crowds Most tours arrives at 13hr.
I suggest trekking there (2 to 3 hours), it's worth it. There are 3 main ponds . The 2nd one is just crowded and... Not even the nicest one! Go to the most upstream. Paradise-like scenery!!
Amaaaaazing waterfalls with Green clear water. A must do and certainly not much like it in the world except maybe pletvice in Croatia.
Entrance fee 20,000 kip p.p. Under 8yo FREE
Spectacular view of cascade waterfalls especially during this season plenty of pod pools for dip n swim
Nice place to go for a dip and nice drive to get to.
After going to the bear enclosure , you will see the swimming area and monkey rope. But don't miss out the majestic view on the top!
Must to go to see. Very very beautiful waterfall !
Less busy after 3PM. Closed at 5:30PM. Entrance fee at 20k kip.
Great place, trek to the top is worth it.
Wrong location on map. From downtown takes around 50 minutes by motorbike.
Amazing place ! Don't miss to swim in the pools & take postcards photos.
Definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful place, remember to cover yourself!can see bears on the way to waterfall and support the good cause ;)
should visit here in rainy season ,, it's low season and the water volume will be higher than other season :]
the pools for swimming is closer if entered through the moon bear sanctuary
Not visit this breathtaking waterfall will be a total boo boo if in Luang Prabang .
Worth a trip even when it's too cold to swim . Really nice place.
The pools at the top are just amazing!
This is just a wonderful place! Well worth a visit.
I really like this place. need to go back here to forget reality.

My favorite place
Quite unique to have this on the doorstep of a waterfall but great in raising the awareness of why we have to rescue these bears. Doesn’t take long to walk around, well laid out with good information. - Richard Burkhill
Ricotta cake was one of the best desserts in my life. With caramel ice-cream it was a perfect dish. - Nastya Sychevskaya
Get into a gym a week before you come to Mount Phousi and do a lot of lounges in order to be ready to be ready to climb the stairs up. At the end is worth it. Great view of the city and the Mekong! - Fernando Gonzalez Saiffe
Everything is tasty and fresh here! The egg bagel is a must! You will see on the menu as the best seller! The cinnamon is to die for! - Alex Razimor
