The food.... so good. I had a roast pork with wonton noodles , which was very cheap Seriously? It was delicious and filling and just what I needed. I shall be back again. Read more

Especially like the "steam egg " & lo mai kai. Tried the mango pudding the mayor recommended, abit sweet for me, but overall nice!! Ya, don't forget the thousand layer cake . Absolute delicious!!
Dim sum still ok but those waitress always show black face seem like you're own them one million ringgit, environment quite comfortable but the prawn chee cheong fan vry thick as you can see below.
The dimsum here is cheap and not bad.. Must try the fried carrot cake .. Fav in the list.. Siewmai too.. Everything here not bad
I can never find dim sum as good as Foh San in Singapore, NEVER! Whenever I'm in Ipoh, Foh San must visit every Sunday morning. Agree with Stewart T, the Char Siew Pau and Siew Mai is my favorite!
One of Ipoh and Malaysia's most famous Dim Sum . All the Dim Sum served here are fresh and delicious to eat. A lovely place to dine in but you must go early in the morning to avoid the heavy crowd.
My friend, Jeremy S, brought me here with his family. I must say the place is really packed.I like their food though and variety wise, you can eat until your size outgrown your pants. Their prawn du

This place is really pack but the food is good, if you're willing to wait for a table then its worth the wait.
Gynard, Pei Yi and I went to famous Foh San for brunch today. We tried their new dish, stewed beef in dry noodles , Taiwanese style . I would rate it as “super nice”.
Good service , clean environment, smooth porridge and dim sum are larger than those I had in KL
Everything is self service except for drinks. Some station only has certain item, it's best to go downstairs station to get everything, it's mostly stocked there. Prepare to walk and carry alot.
Variety choices of dim sum that is uniquely available here. Environment and food is great, got the feel of breakfast in Hong Kong.
Thanks Stewart for your recommendation. I brought my family of 7 to this dim sum place and they ate almost all of the selections. Great choice Stewart.

My top pick for dim sum in Ipoh. I can never find such good dim sum in KL.
For such big portion , i think the price is reasonable. 3 big succulent prawns in the prawn dumpling . I cant find this in KL (except in Hotel ).
Trolley service and waiter service available on weekdays. Waiter service available everyday. Fun and nice place to eat, especially the roast pork noodle . yummi mummi...
Best dim sum place in Malaysia with a wide variety and good service too. Like going back to the ancient china dim sum place.
Best dim sum in Ipoh. Service is best.... very cheap . www.fohsan.com.my
Very comfortable place, however taste of dim sum just probably slightly above average, cannot be rated as excellent.
Recommended dishes - cha xiu pau, ha gau, xiu mai, yu nai, & deep fry prawn spring roll
Nice dim sum ! Very authentic kinda style! Love the crusts of the egg tarts ????
Their staff face all look like not happy.if u sit at 1st floor and not that much ppl on weekday . Need to watch up due to their steam dim sum skin will be hard abit bcoz of put at there long time.
Some slight improvement since the last i came. The size of the dim sum seems to be a tad larger given they charge exorbitant prices. Taste is good especially the loh mai gai.
The place it's really pack on weekend n holiday. Most ppl come here for dim sum . Try the char siew pau. Simple n nice.
Come in weekday or non holiday
Dim sum was average. Prawn Dumplings and Eggs Tart is a must try. Fried carrot cake is not bad. The Char Siew Bau was not my taste. Taste weird. Is totally different.
The fishballs is very big & yummy ;) other dimsum taste well too!! Efficient service & reasonable price!
Love the dim sum here. A trip to Ipoh will not be complete without a meal here.
Best dim sum ? I wouldnt know. But it is definitely famous and packed.
Spacious place, without A/C, too busy, no service cart, long queue to have dim sum...food was worth to try.
