Better than foo shan and it is my favourite dim sum place. Do not come in the morning because it will be super crowded *although dim sum is the best for breakfast * The service is better at night :)
Stir Fried fish noodle (noodle made of fish meat) is special! Liked the lively atmosphere and food in general.
Try egg tart and 芋角! Normally the skin of fried dim sum is so thick and taste so oily, but here the fried dim sum is good, and so rich in taste :)
We love their porridge with peanuts and oyster , prawn dumplings , very fine chee cheong fun and silky smooth egg tarts .
Good crowd. Great dim sum . Friendly ( i guess thanks to all the feedback). Yet to try their giant pao. Char siew pao is nice
It's rude, but in a good way, it's part of the charm and the fun of it. It's no-nonsense and totally worth it for the quality of the food and low price.
One of the rare place to get dim sum in the evening. The fried prawn fritters are great, but not the rest as it feels like not as fresh
For me, their service is good :) and the Lao sha pau is damn delicious!
I like the steamed carrot cake , siew mai and steamed pork ribs here.
Service has relatively improved as compared to Foh San . Curry pork & chicken bun + herbal tea egg are yums! Others are okay though. But the osmanthus cake is too artificially flavoured.
Dim sum is ordinary and not warm when served. Restaurant is noisy , not from customers chatter but from a staff complaining when customers ask about their order that has yet to arrive.
Slightly more expensive than Ming court. Dim sum menu is different from Ming court, may give a try
The service here has markedly improved since. Eh you all give chance la, Aunty uncle all so old start serving at 6am, if you waste their time, they do need to school you.
Best dim sum ever ❤️ different kind of choices
Not enough dim sum selections and variety. Some of the my favorite dim sum weren't on the cart and I had to ask for it or they still needed to cook it.
Dim sum is surprisingly very good but price is on the high side.
Nice dimsum !! Would recommend the "kuai fa kou"
Workers attitude is sucky, it is magnified especially during busy times like festive season and public holidays. Food is so-so but at least better than fu san .
Must have : char siew bao , kwai fa gou.
Wow wow.. price increased so much. Dai bao for RM8.50+GST fuhhhh
Fresh Dim Sum but price slightly higher
The aunty that serving us a bit arrogant. But the food serve is fresh as when u order only they stim it. Food come super slowwwww~~~
Char siew bao is a must!
Nicer than foshan n service better oso .dim sum here delicious.
A bit pricey but the portions are quite big la. Service is bad and yet they have service charge of 5%.
Food is not good and damn expensive !!one potion of har kaw costs me rm 7?when the food is served, it’s cold😨..please do some improvement otherwise this will be my last visit to this shop😤
Very tasty Char Xiu Bao in Town
Decent dim sum at night for those of us who can't wake at 6 in the morning. Service is decent.
This restaurant served mainly dimsum . You MUST order Ta Pau (Big Pau), as I'm super big size. Contain pork
Not much variety of dimsum , expensive , and the food is so so. Will not go again. Three person charged us rm53. The surprising part is, there is service charge and gov tax!!!
Foods is heavily wrap with ingredients
Egg tart is a must try ! Best in town
Dim sum here is so much nicer than Fok San!
Fried char siu pao is good. The rest of the dim sum is average.
Har Kao dim sum
char siew bao , best ever
I think their strategy is to freeze us like in the freezer indirectly to chase us away so that he hv more seats fast for his customers! Sucking business mind idiotic ignorance!
Not as good as penang's dimsum but at least way better than foh san !
The egg tart , char siew pao , and some prawn dumplings are nice. But too pricey .
Hits and misses. Mostly mediocre dimsum . But I wasn't expecting much to begin with.
Try the "loong so maai" (chicken floss wrap on siu mai)
Food quality like pasar malam, service even worst, not deserve any ratings. Mushroom brand fish ball is much better. Ginger fish , I think unagi is much thicker than theirs.
Food is 10 times better than Famous Foh San . Must try Har Kau King.
Nice n quality dim sum but not much variety....
Foods are Fresh n good service
Should try the fresh shrimp ha gao...
Love the dim sum here!!!!
As a local I dunno since when restaurant that serve bad quality food still survive in Ipoh. The dim sum is cold. No quality.
ChaXiuBao & Egg Tart is nice.. other food no comment.. and also the service & staffs .. they just keep chatting each other.. not serving the customer..
The dim sum yummy!
Incredible food and friendly service. Just be sure to arrive early (by mid-morning) else they start running out of dim sims 😊 - Ness
Great variety, good taste, ample parking, less crowded and decent customer service. This place is a win compared to all the ones at the Foh San street. - Li Sum
Tau fu fah is so soft and fluffy here! A must to pack home! - JuLi W.
Easy location n parking.almost everything u need -clothing stores,great food,popular bookstore,GSC,karaoke,bowling,play area for small kids,parkson - Mami Mommy
Great breakfast. Definitely must try dry curry mee, egg tart, and white coffee. - Charlie Tan
