The museum opens at 08:15 so get there early as tour groups fill up the line . We got there at 08:20 & had to wait 40 mins to get it. You can pay €4 to jump the line but you still need to pay entry fee

Lloyd G

Very busy, but plenty of places for pictures. The guides do a good job of moving groups along so it doesn't get too full.

Paulo Rementeria

Shown at the Accademia Gallery . Go early (as you can) to get a short queue, do not pay for skip the line tickets, it is not worthy. The rest of the gallery is, ok. Unless you are a fan of sacred art

Adam Howard

Obvious attraction but for very good reason. It's worth getting the Rick Steve's tour podcast

Podere il Pino

It is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created between 1501 and 1504. It is a 5.17-metre, marble statue of a standing male nude. The statue represents the Biblical hero David. FANTASTIC!

After hours tour with Angelo from Walks of Italy tours was wonderful, completely changed my perspective of the work.

Jennifer Sibley Perone

Wow! So great! I loved seeing all the great classic works! Don’t step out to the bathrooms unless you’re ready to leave!

Salvatore De Carmine

With its height of 4 and something meters it would be an impressive view even if it wasn't the magnificent piece of Renaissance art that it is.

Vallyri

It is as amazing as they say, and very tall! They have quite a few of master michelangelo's works in the building.

Ilkay

Even though there are some photos of david in foursquare... It is forbidden to take photos inside museum , keep that in mind and save the embaressment :)

Get here early (from 8:15 AM) to skip the throngs of people and tours .

Miri Kang

Look at the statue from the end of the hallway, it's meant to be looked at from far away. Otherwise the proportions don't looks right. And don't take pictures, it doesn't do any justice anyways..

Kapt’n Koko

Get here early in the day so the crowds are light.

John Cassillo

Go during the offseason and you'll walk right in.

Janet Tom

Long lines ?! Just buy a fast pass across from the entrance & you won't have to stand in line . Fast pass = £4
