Super informative and well displayed collection of artifacts from the Mary Rose ; the timbers of the ship itself care displayed in a funky modern gallery with a sound/show every 7 mins projected on it.
The past, present, and future of this unique reservation effort is truly astounding. There's return value in knowing you'll have different experiences when you come back as the project progresses.
Museum was much better than when I visited as a kid. A lot of good work and hard effort has gone into presenting the Mary Rose and her artefacts in an informative and fun way. #Vasa4Life though ;P
Wonderful museum the things that they have found are truely remarkable. This is one of Britain’s best museums
Getting quite expensive at the dockyard these days ! Consider the 12 month ticket option for all attractions , esp if you are a family! (£80)
We had a 12.30 slot and the start of the tour was very busy. When we came out at 1.45ish, there appeared to be almost no-one going in. Late lunchtime might be the optimal slot.
Tickets are on a timed entrance. Allow 20 mins queue time for your time slot. It takes approx 1.5hours to view the museum properly.
An amazing insight into life in Tudor times.
its amazing to lift this ship from the sea bed...
So so cool seeing the Mary Rose lit up underground. Felt like I was looking at the titanic
Guides unfriendly and even unnecessarily rude, despite the museum being fairly empty. Not worth £65 for 2 seniors & 2 adults.
Nothing to explain the seafood sauce ...
The food is quite pricey but the hot drinks are a reasonable price. - Simónir G
This place is a bargain! £21 online booking for a whole year and is for all attractions! Great displays for all the family. Harbour boat tours also from site. Great bargain. - Tony Jones
My favourite ship on the site. Her and her sister ship HMS Black Prince were the first iron hulled, armour plated warships ever built. Lucky for us, she never saw combat and can be enjoyed today. - Dalton Boatman
Great little café, really good cake ;) - Jp Wilkins
We had a special tour arranged by uni and the guide was excellent! - Norah
Awesome environment, great shops and fabulous choice of restaurants and bars. - Cristina Barros
