The Khmer Muslim beef cheek curry is amazing, as is the soft shell crab and the chilli sorbet . A great cause, well worth your money and the food & service always excellent. A favourite.

Penny-Merelle Gray

Fish amok was great. We also had the pork with morning glory which was amazing. The mushroom sauce rice noodles were also pretty tasty. We got two big bottles of beer , whole bill was $27.

Yesh Yendamuri

Amazing food and great staff , And they support an amazing cause. Try the fish amok or the beef curry with bread . ????????

Andrei Kletsun

I realy liked the place, it is like an oasis in Phnom Pehn. Food is well served and tastes very good. Staff knows English well and can help with the choice.

Istvan Nagy-Racz

The building and the garden is beautiful, the staff is perfect, the cuisine is very, very good, and not the least they work for a very good cause. Try the fried cricket with baby frog and silkworms :)

Pete Atkins

Really good food and helpful staff . Helped with gluten free food for my wife. Interesting menu with plenty of khemer classics. Best food in cambodia so far. Reasonable prices too

Allan With Sørensen

Great place! Do as everyone says and try the tarantulas. Service was excellent. The place was full, but they found an extra table. Make sure to book in advance.Really like the concept!

Judith

Delicious and authentic Khmer food with lots of choices for vegetarians ! Enjoy a mango and lime smoothie by the pool.

Gregory Tomei

The roasted pork belly and crispy morning glory salad , and side of green bean salad were phenomenal, scrumptious House-made dressings !

Ian Anderson

Great place retreat in the middle of the day. Lunch was crispy pork with lotus, pickled cabbage and kampot pepper . Fantastic

Sebastian Königs

Restaurant working as a social enterprise with disadvantaged youth serving creative Cambodian food , great cocktails and very good coffee . Highly recommend!

Ana Furtado

Beautiful place, great atmosphere and amazing food. We've tried two fish dishes (whole fried fish and fish in banana leaf ), both fantastic.

Ying Wei

If possible get the seat by the pool. The banana flower with Canadian bacon is absolutely to die for. The river fish that everyone recommended wasn't that amazing. Try tarantulas skip red ants .

Mk D

Great place to dine , fish amok , tarantulas, ice cream are good. Prices are above average but its for a good cause. That makes paying a bit more less painful

Sannidhi ????

Turmeric crepes filled with caramelized banana and topped with coconut ice cream and burnt sesame seeds . Delicious!

May Holland

The crickets are best. Silkworms are passable. Tarantulas a must for street cred. Food in general is nicely cooked. Normal size. Desserts are lovely.

Tomfoolery

The beef stir fry with ants is actually really good. Not sure I could get a huge amount of flavour from them, but the texture was really interesting.

SilkAir

Lunch on the patio or courtyard of this lovely restored French-colonial villa . A hospitality training school for rescued street kids , Romdeng serves superb Cambodian cuisine.

Yanzer Lee

Good food and environment. Try the Amok and the Duck Dishes

Céline Crama

Great service, tasty food, worth the price which is correct (except for the beer which is in comparison quite expensive ).

MC Casal

Great tasty Cambodian food very affordable and helping young cambodian people to learn a job.

Paddy Dalton

Call ahead to get a table on balcony or in the courtyard . Try a spider! Tastes like soft shell crab & was nice if you don't think too much about what you are doing!

Mandar Pathak

Loved the fish amok and the turmeric crepes with caramelized banana .

Eli Horne

Half portions are still pretty big. Get the fried tarantulas and a chili margarita . Check out the shop before you leave.

David Abramovich

Sister restaurant to Friends, super interesting Khmer menu. If you ever want to eat tarantula, here is your chance.

Gaddo

Try the fried Tarantulas they taste like stomps but you will have a nice picture to take back home.

J

Try the “creepy crawly tarantulas” - has a taste similar to soft shell crab

Liz Tan

Really great program. Careful with ordering too much food. Everything is delicious - get it all to share.

Ty Le

This place helps street kids have a future, and the food is excellent! Quite a cool atmosphere as well .

Milos Gajdos

Duck spring rolls and khmer beef with potato hash were delicious ????

Eric Cherng

Agreed. Try the river fish with mango relish , char-grill eggplant with pork , and also the banana flower with Cambodian bacon . The coconut milk and lime shake is awesome!

Patricia Jurado

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend it, especially the fish amok .

Kai Ong

Food was decent but not as wow as expected. Fried tarantulas is a novelty here. The coconut and lime shake or mango with coconut ice cream shake was fantastic.

Mark

cool hospitality training initiative. lots of students! Try the tarantula head and or thorax, mmmmm

Robert Höhne

Good restaurant based on a great cause, helping kids. The food was good, not spectacular tho. The staff was kind of slow. Serving tarantulas is certainly a nice gimmick.

Ian Anderson

River fish , duck breast and red ants soup , spicy pork and pumpkin lapp.

Zampano

Try the Amok (fish or veggie ) or the curries :) staff is super friendly .

X L

Have the glutinous rice balls with a flaky crust and banana filling, and palm sugar sauce.

Tony

Fish amok was good but felt a little bit generic curry-ish. Rest of the menu sounded awesome though.

Jodi Hilton

The prawns and pomelo salad is my favorite dish in Phnom Penh.

Kimberley C

Try the tarantulas! You'll be surprised to find that they're actually not that bad
