Absolutely amazing! The video is great! I didn't know much about it and I learned a lot! Native American made items for sale and they are amazing also! Bit pricey but have to expect that from handmade
This is an amazing place. Don't miss out. Once you arrive ask about joining the Grass Roots Club and taking a van ride to the top of the mountain . It's a life-changing experience. Wonderful staff .
Monument was as expected but the pleasant surprise was the collection of 17th century European furniture and Egyptian artifacts in the sculptor's house! Definitely worth it!
Very impressive place, it's a must see for sure... everyone needs to put this on their bucket list!
This is more than just a giant memorial tribute. The museum of artifacts from various Native American tribes across the US was very informative. A lot of beautiful pieces.
Watch the movie , take the bus tour , walk around the visitor center. Schedule at least a couple of hours. This is actually a neat place if you take in everything else too.
Awesome that they turned down federal funding and relied solely on free market tourism to fund a good project. Very friendly and helpful staff . Definitely worth the visit!
Plan to stay long enough to look through the entire center. They have an extensive collection of Native American paintings , clothing , and artifacts .
This is an incredible story about a passionate sculptor and a grand vision of a few great people
They have a laser light show every night about 9:30pm. Lots of history to learn there. Great place to visit over again.
save yourself the 11$ pp, and just pull up on the side of the road - view doesn't really get a lot better up top. Your time is much better spent on Custer 's scenic drives & trails
Enjoyed the Native American dance ...very educational ...awesome experience just being so close to the memorial to Crazy Horse...
Definitely worth seeing if you are interested in Native American history . Pay the extra $4 for the closer look, well worth it!
Visit the Crazy Horse monument in South Dakota. See the legend immortalized in a 563-foot-high, 641-foot-long sculpture .
Fabulous and interesting. Great restaurant and I love the museum
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion . . . . . The fact that the Feds aren't involved? Well that's worth the visit in itself !
A wonderful commitment to voluntarism and what you can accomplish without a government hand out.
Ask visitor center staff if a live blast is scheduled for today. If so, be sure to stick around to watch it. Very cool experience, indeed!
Half done memorial, no hiking trails , can’t get close to the rock, wouldn’t do it again.
Made it to the last stop of the day before night activities in Rapid City . @Custer #HiFromSD
Worth every penny this effort is supported by fees and donations not a suck on federal or state taxes. Worth the cost to support private enterprise
Crazy Horse is pretty cool, but it hasn't changed much since I first visited in 2001. Maybe I just forgot, but I know it's been a long work in progress.
Interesting but costly to view something you can see from outside...everyone should experience 1x
A cool concept and somewhat educational , but extremely boring for the kids who cannot understand why in 80 years there is barely a face finished.
Its worth it to go iin, don't miss the museum !
Hardly about Native history or assisting current Native peoples in any way- more about the artist . A beautiful monument , but doesn't live up to philosophical expectations.
Kind of cool to see this work in progress, but it's WAY too expensive (over $20/person) for a monument that may never be completed.
Spend the extra and go to the base, if you can afford it donate and go to the top! The food in the cafe though was awful! Opt for a coffee instead of a meal!
If you want to know more about Native American history this is one place that must be visited.
You pay $10 per person to get in the door then $4 if u want to get a closer view . They are 1 million dollars away from their goal but its only 1/5 completed. But I guess there is a laser show at 8:45p
Admission few is a bit pricey but is worth it for this incredible story and monument
$22 admission is a bit pricey when the monument is unfinished
A little over priced but it is dog friendly .
I loved the place but work is slow moving.
$27 to look at a rock in the side of a hill that you can see from the road for free
Laser light show isn't as awesome as it sounds. Don't get your hopes up!
See the movie about the carving before walking around the museum
Not impressed with the people that works here. Nice to see and appreciate crazy horse.
Good things come to those who wait
If the ticket offices are busy, stick to the right lane. Generally, there are two TO's that service this lane.
I'm at crazy horse with keith
Don't be cheap and donate some spare change.
Still a bit more Togo
If your Active Duty Military , let them know at the entrance.
Interesting, to say the least.
A great delution! 10$ per person to see nothing
SOoooo not worth the cost of entry. Take the same pictures from the street and save yourself the aggravation
Laser show tonight!!
Crazy 3 rd time here
Take the bus ride
This is the best Indian museum I have ever seen. Plan to spend the day. The price of admission is well worth it. Extensive displays, dancing & singing presentations. Don’t miss it. - C L
