If you want a quiet and chill place to study or use a computer, 4th floor east is the place to go. No one is ever up there and there is some nice tables if you want to have a group meeting.
Want a private bathroom ... WITH A LOCK?? Head to the 4th floor near the elevators , and head down a small staircase into a smaller library , and the bathrooms are to the right.
Check out Ellis Library, where more than 2 million volumes make it largest research library in the state and one of the best university libraries in the country . The main building was opened in 1916!
Seriously, if you need help researching something, the librarians at the reference desk are the nicest people ever. They will go out of their way to guide you in the right direction.
Best study spot on campus is the "knook of knowledge ." Cozy up in this quiet corner, turn a few pages, and read the names carved in the table from years gone by...
Four East is quiet , warm, and close to couches , foot-rests and a restroom . I wrote a thesis sitting here!

Planning on surfing the web? Fair warning: MizzouWireless has a weak signal near the edges of the building; common areas typically have a better signal, allowing you to browse Facebook, er... study.
Third floor desks above the big, open silent section is great for trying to get work done.
The second floor quiet room looks like the ballroom from the beauty and the beast. It's wonderful.
Be sure to see the writing tutor in a study room on the main floor. They are there to help you.
Be sure to try the good pastry and cookies at the Bookmark cafe inside Ellis Library
Movie night? No Problem! Check out Ellis' vast array of dvds and video tapes ranging from Chocolat all the way to Goodfellas!
Pick up a random book in a random section of the library ... read a random page in a random chapter... then, try it again with a different book .
Need a computer in a snap? Stop by the Reserve Desk to checkout a laptop for a couple hours. Both Macs and PCs are available for student use.
The best place to study would have to be next to the windows in the government document stacks
Some one on the Ellis staff needs to buynew staplers to put out, the staplers that are out now are super jankity!
3rd floor has the best bathrooms to defecate in private.
If you're a guest and want to use your laptop , bring a datacard or have really nice MU friends.
Don't bring any cups without actual lids. They'll get taken by the library cops (Paul Blart). Soda bottles are okay. Be sneaky about food.
Though the entire library is not labeled "quiet area ," please remember you are still in a library and it is extremely rude to have long loud cell phone conversations!!

If you can't find an open computer just check out a laptop . They have mac and dell.
dont move AT ALL while youre sitting on the toilet or it will auto flush on you time and time again
If you get there early, you are generally in luck. Finding an open outlet for your laptop is next to impossible.
Look out for the walrus woman security guard . She will take all your sunflower seeds
